    Dear Parents,

I trust you all had a restful Spring break and that you and your children had a valuable moment to relaxtogether before the push to the end of this school year, just 8 weeks from now.

Just before the break, our Seniors had a grueling 6 days of exams designed to give them a taste of the real IBexams just around the corner. The session went well and should help the students to identify their weaknessesso that they can work on them and strive for a more complete understanding of the subject matter.

The Grade 12 IB exams start on Tuesday May 4th and run until Monday May 24th. Just a reminder; the IB Englishexams have been scheduled for Monday May 10th - this is an unfortunate clash with the holiday for PresidentialElection Day but this date was set by the IB Organization and one which all schools, world-wide, who run the IBprogram must adhere to.

Speaking of exams, students in grade 9, 10 and 11 also have these to look forward to! The grade 9s and 10swill sit theirs on Tuesday May 4th and Wednesday May 5th. The grade 11s have theirs from Thursday May 6th, toWednesday May 12th with the long weekend splitting them into two sessions. Heres a summary of the Grade 9,10 and 11 exam schedules.

    ATTENTION: CHANGE IN PROCEDUREDear Parents:

Every year we have to deal with the administrative burden of trying to collect from parents the $1000 Re-enrollmenDeposit. This is difficult for many parents, especially those whose fees are paid by the sponsoring company, and moredifficult still for the school trying to collect from parents, especially those who are not sure of their circumstances.

This year we shall try something different. There will be no re-enrollment deposit. Instead, we shall expect adeparting families to complete the WITHDRAWAL NOTIFICATION FORM on or before May 15 th. Failure to dso will lead to a deduction of $1,000.00 from the Facilities Upgrade Deposit.

As I am sure you understand, we at school face considerable pressure from families applying to enter their children intISM. We have to establish the May 15th deadline in order for us to be fair to those families on our waitlist. The earlier yocan tell us that you are leaving school, the sooner we can provide clear answers to in-coming families.

    Sincerely Yours,David TozeSuperintendent
