HTHS DRESS CODE If you are found to be in violation of the dress code you can borrow from a friend or phone home and have something brought to school. An administrator can help as well. Dressing for Success It is expected that all students dress with appropriate taste in order that the educational process is not disrupted. Dressing for school means that you wear clothes in the manner they are intended to be worn. While at school or at any school-sponsored event, students shall be dressed and groomed in a manner that will neither adversely affect the instructional program nor violate reasonable and acceptable standards of cleanliness, safety, or appropriateness as judged by the principal and administration of Harrison Trimble High School. NOT OK (sheer without cami or t-shirt underneath) NOT OK (backless) NOT OK (spaghetti straps) NOT OK (too low cut) NOT OK (Too much exposure.) NOT OK (too short) NOT OK (too loose) NOT OK (bra showing) NOT OK (Too many holes too high up on leg.) (Guys and Girls) NOT OK (depiction of illegal substance) NOT OK (too low)! NO pajamas (except on pajama day) OK! Great length OK! OK! A summer sweater over top! OK! If you are found to be in violation of the dress code, you can See an administrator OR borrow from a friend OR or phone home and have something brought to school OR We will have a shirt for you to wear The aim of this policy is to foster a responsible and respectful attitude toward appropriate dress. The administration of Harrison Trimble High School reserves the right to modify and interpret this policy as deemed necessary to determine disruptive and unsafe attire.
