What is the ECR forum?

The ECR forum aims to…

• Explore the practical aspects of a career in academia

• Discuss methodological issues/innovations in research methods

• Be a social forum for research staff and students • Receive careers advice from senior members of

staff/alumni

• Form links with a view to potential research collaborations

• Highly valued within the psychology department.

• Increases the academic skills of early career researchers.

• Creates a strong community feeling within the department.

• Provides a platform which brings early career researchers closer together.
