Handover trong MiPHandover trong vng ph c v MSC Pool: Vi c handover khi thu bao di chuy n trong t t c cc BSC thu c MSC pool gi ng nh handover trong cng MSC. Handover t vng MSC pool ra ngoi v t ngoi vo trong MSC pool: gi ng nh tr ng h p handover gi a 2 MSC thng th ng.

Paging trong MiPTrong MSC pool, vi c paging v n c th c hi n thng qua TMSI ho c IMSI nh bnh th ng. Khi BSC nh n c thng tin respone t thu bao c ch a TMSI(NRI) th BSC forward n MSC thng qua NRI. Khi BSC nh n c thng tin respone t thu bao ch ch a IMSI th BSC s l a ch n MSC forward b n tin thng qua vi c l u gi a t m th i IMSI tr c . Trong ton b MSC pool, vng ph c v l r t l n do c n cn nh c vi c th c hi n paging trn ton b cc LAI thu c MSC.
