@ Imus Pilot Elementary School in Cavite

The program’s aim was to help grade one students of Imus Pilot Elementary School to read by theused of storybooks creatively made by the second year students, section Gold of Imus Institute. We also had the opportunity to taught them how to write and sing at the same time. We just don’t have the chance to take pictures of the storybooks that we’ve made and also the actual doings that we’ve performed inside the classrooms. This program was created and established since Imus Pilot Elementary School is one of the adopted schools of our Alma Mater, Imus Institute. This activity was performed by us voluntarily and we really enjoyed it a lot.

From this experience of ours, we’ve learned that being a teacher is not an easy job most especially if you are working and serving public schools that are composed of too many students per classroom. Also, you should have a lot of patience for most of the children that you’re handling can be stubborn and hard-headed because they are still too young and playing is what they love to do the most. We really enjoyed teaching them even though it’s a hard task and also it

was a really good experience for us. I hope that we can do this again some other time and we

are really happy to serve others wholeheartedly.

This activity was administered by the CATBatch Marangal of Imus Institute. All fourth year students were involved in this project. Our company was assigned to clean Imus Town Plaza

and other places beside it. This activity was required for the purpose of serving our community

by making our environment clean and green for the benefit of

everybody.

From this activity, we’ve learned that in order for us to succeed, we will always be needing the help and assistance of others. For us to achieve something in our lives, we have to have teamwork and cooperation of everybody. Also, through this activity, we got the chance to bond with one another and at the same time helped our community by this simple action that we had done. Another thing was that we were able to feel a sense of accomplishment in ourselves and we enjoyed this activity that made our company’s friendship even stronger
