Safety Guidelines when using HuckInstallation Equipment to install HuckFasteners.
Before using equipment:
1) Only Huck Installation Equipmentshould be used to install Huck fasteners.
2) Only persons that have receivedtraining approved by Huck InternationalLtd should use Huck InstallationEquipment.
3) The Manuals and/or Data sheets andwarning stickers/labels supplied with theInstallation equipment should be studiedbefore connecting the equipment to anyprimary power supply, in particular thefollowing sections:
• Warnings and Cautions.• Specifications• Electrical and/or Air supply.• Principals of Operation.• Preparation for use.• Regular use.• Regular maintenance.
4) With hydraulic tooling, ensure that it issuitable for use with the Huck Powerig orHuck approved hand pump being used.
5) Check that the Powerig or approvedhand pump "Pull" and "Return" pressureshave been adjusted to suit the toolbeing used. Reference must be made tothe instruction manual supplied with theequipment.
6) Check that the Nose Assembly is of thecorrect type suitable for installing thefastener being used.
7) Visually check all pneumatic and/orhydraulic hoses, electrical cables,Powerigs, hand pumps and hand tools, forany visible signs of damage and leakage.ALL HYDRAULIC HOSES SHOULD BERENEWED EVERY FIVE YEARS.
8) Do not connect any equipment toprimary power supplies or attempt to useany equipment, that shows signs ofdamage or leakage.
9) Ensure that all air and/or hydraulichose and/or electrical plugs/connectorsare correctly connected before switchingon supply to equipment.
When operating the equipment:
10) When using fasteners in some typesof structure, the fracturing of the Pintailduring installation may generate noiselevels above the first action level of theNoise at Work Regulations and thereforehearing protection must be worn.
11) It is recommended that eye protection,(e.g.. safety glasses), should be worn bythe operator.
12) Never look directly at the front or rearof the installation tool.
13) Never hold the Installation Tool aroundthe Nose Assembly.
14) Keep hands/fingers clear of anymoving parts and also apertures in NoseAssemblies.
15) WarningFasteners should only ever be installed inthe actual workpiece to prevent possiblehigh velocity ejection from the NoseAssembly due to tensile forces inducedduring Pintail fracture.

16) When using two piece fasteners, (i.e..Pin and Collar type), theconical/chamfered end of the collar MUSTalways be towards the Nose assembly,NOT against the work piece.
17) Keep fingers clear from the undersideof the head, collars and blind side offasteners and from within the joint beingfastened, during the installation cycle.
18) Do not look directly at the head orblind side of fasteners during theinstallation cycle.
19) During the installation cycle, the toolwill pull and straighten itself to the axis ofthe fastener, beware of hands beingtrapped against any nearby structure.
KEEP HANDS CLEAR
20) In the event of any difficulty whilstinstalling a fastener, releasing the tooltrigger at any time during the installationcycle will immediately put the tool intoreverse.

21) Beware of fastener Pintails which areejected, (sometimes forcibly), from thetool at the completion, or at Pintailfracture, during the installation cycle.Tools designed to have PintailDeflectors and or catchers must neverbe used without them.
22) Do not continue to use anyequipment which develops a fault whilstbeing used.
23) Avoid kinking of hoses or dragging ofhoses and electrical cables over sharpobjects.

DescriptionThe 911D diesel engine Powerig is
designed to be used with a wide range ofHuck hydraulic Installation Tools (includingBobtail Tools -see utilisation ), and willoperate one Tool. The maximum PullPressure is 700 bar (10150 psi) and themaximum Return Pressure is 400 bar (5800 psi). The Powerig is equipped with a12 vdc Battery and an electric StarterMotor operated by a Key Switch.The Engine and Pump run continuouslyand a low hydraulic pressure , (IdlePressure ), ensures that the Tool Piston iskept in the forward position when the Toolis not being used. The Installation Tool isconnected to the Powerig by means ofPull and Return pressure Hydraulic Hosesand an electrical Control Cord. ThePowerig Hydraulic Directional Valve(HDV), is controlled from the InstallationTool Trigger by a 12 VDC remote controlcircuit. When operating ST & DT type BobtailTools, or non-Bobtail Tools, the operatorpresses and holds the Tool Trigger whichstarts the Tool cycle to install the
Fastener. Once the Fastener is installed,the Trigger is released and the ToolPiston and Nose Assembly return to thefully forward position, the Tool/NoseAssembly are ejected from the installedFastener.When operating “IT” type Bobtail Tools, aLimit Switch (sometimes referred to as aMicro-Switch), & a red LED Light on theTool are activated when the NoseAssembly is correctly located onto theFastener. The Tool Trigger will onlyfunction if the Limit Switch has beenactivated (indicated by the red LED). Theoperator now presses and holds theTrigger which starts the Tool cycle toinstall the Fastener. As long as theTrigger is kept pressed, the Bobtail Collarwill be Swaged correctly and the Tool andNose Assembly will return and eject fromthe installed Fastener automatically.“ST” type Bobtail Tools also have a Micro-Switch and LED light but the operator hasto release the Trigger when the BobtailCollar is fully swaged. “DT” Tools alsofunction that way but do not have a LimitSwitch or LED.

Intended Use
The 911D Powerig is designed to be usedwith Huck Installation Tools (refer toUtilisation on Page 5), to install variousHuck Bobtail Fasteners, in a factory(where permitted),or outdoor workingenvironment. The unit should be not beplaced on a surface with an angleexceeding 15 degrees from the horizontal.
NoiseThe sound measurement is in accordancewith BS EN ISO 3746: 1996 is less than70dB(A).
DisposalFluids should be disposed of byprocessing through authorised methodsand in accordance with current legislation.
This symbol indicates that this productmust be disposed of according to the

1) The above Swage Pressures are only a guide and may have to be adjusted to obtainconsistent correct Collar swaging. The Pull Pressure should always be a maximum of 60 (870 psi) to 100 bar (1450 psi) higher than the the Swage Pressure to minimise therisk of Bobtail (the part of the Fastener held by the Nose Assembly), fracture.
Pull Pressure:This is the maximum hydraulic pressure ofthe Pump which is set and adjusted withthe Main Pressure Relief Valve (5). Inparticular, it controls the maximumhydraulic pressure applied to the front ofthe Tool Piston during the “Pull” stroke(Pulling on the Fastener Pintail), enablingthe complete Fastener installation.
Swage Pressure:Sometimes called Cut-Off Pressure, this isthe hydraulic pressure which is applied tothe front of the Tool Piston, enablingswaging of the Collar during theinstallation of Bobtail Fasteners whenusing IT type Bobtail Tools. This pressure

Principle of Operation with Bobtail ToolsNon Bobtail Tools
When the tool trigger is depressed :-Relay R2 is energised which alsoenergises Relay R1 via contact R2-1(latched in by the Digital Return PressureSwitch 7).Normally open Relay contacts R2-3 closesto operate the HDV 3 solenoid, allowingfluid through the HDV via outlet port PNormally closed Relay contacts R2-2open, preventing the Return PressureHDV solenoid from operating while thepull pressure HDV solenoid is energised.The Installation Tool Piston movesrearwards to begin the Fastenerinstallation cycle.When the Installation Tool trigger isreleased, Relay R2 is de-energised,contacts R2-3 open to de-energise theHDV Pull Pressure solenoid. relaycontacts R2-2 close to energise theReturn Pressure solenoid, allowing fluidthrough the HDV via outlet port R. The Installation Tool piston movesforward. When the Piston reaches the fully forwardposition, pressure in the return lineincreases and opens the Digital ReturnPressure Switch 7 contacts, which de-energises Relay R1. This also de-energises the HDV Return Pressuresolenoid and the Digital Return PressureSwitch then recloses (re-closes-sets).The installation cycle is now complete.

Preparation for First Time Use (Refer to FIG. 1 )
CAUTIONTo avoid explosions or fire outbreaks, donot smoke or use naked flames duringoperations. Fuel vapours are highlytoxic. Only carry out operations outdoors or ina well ventilated area. Keep face well away from the filler capand fuel tank to prevent inhalation ofharmful vapours. Dispose of fuel in accordance withapplicable laws and regulations as it ishighly polluting. Use the same type of fuel as used incars as use of other types could damagethe engine. The cetane rating of the fuelmust be higher than 45 to preventdifficult starting. Do not use dirty fuel of mixtures ofdiesel fuel and water, since this wouldcause serious engine damage
5. Check that there is sufficient enginediesel fuel for the time intended to operatethe Powerig. A full tank of fuel will run theengine for approx. 4 hours at 2400 r.p.m.Do not fill the fuel tank completely but justup to 1 cm (0.39”) from the top of the fueltank. This allows space for fuel movement. Only use clean fuel and wipe any fuelspillage from the engine before starting.
6. Using the Oil Level/Temp Gauge 16,check that the hydraulic fluid (oil) level is atthe top of the glass. To avoid overheatingof the fluid, the level should not be allowedto fall lower than half way down the glass. .
7. If necessary, remove Filler Cap 14 and fillPowerig Oil Reservoir with recommendedhydraulic fluid, (refer to page 28) to the topof the glass.
CAUTIONFor filling the reservoir, only use cleanfluid and a clean funnel with a maximumof a 60 micron filter. Failure to do thiswill cause malfunction and componentdamage.8. Reinstall Filler Cap.
1. Check the dieselengine oil level byusing the dipstick.The oil level shouldbe near themaximum.
If necessary addclean oil via the fillercap.
Note:Refer to the DieselEngine maintenanceManual for correctgrade of oil.
2. Open air cleanerand remove element.
3. Fill with engine oilup to the level mark.
4. Reassemble air cleaner. Ensure that theair filter is mounted the correct wayotherwise dust and other impurities couldenter the intake ducts.

Starting & stopping the engine...
9. Apply the brakeon the CastorWheel to avoidunexpectedmovement of thePowerig duringoperation.Push down withfoot to operatebrake.

10. Set the throttleat 50% maximum speed.
11. Turn the key clockwiseto position 1 as shownbelow. The warning lightshould illuminate.
12. Continue to turn thekey clockwise to position2 to operate the electricstarter motor. Releasethe key once the enginehas started. The key willnow return to position 1and should be left in this position whilst theengine is running.
CAUTIONDo not operate the starter for more than20 seconds at a time. If the engine doesnot start, wait 1 minute before tryingagain.If the engine does not start after twoattempts, trace the cause according tothe Diagnosis Chart (page 75 - 77) of theDiesel Engine Maintenance Manual.All warning lights should stay off whenthe engine is running.
Note:If there is not enough battery power tooperate the electric starter motor, the enginemaybe started with the recoil starter. Referto page 53 of the Diesel EngineMaintenance Manual for instructions.
13. Move throttle lever to the idle positionand allow engine to run at idle for a fewminutes before increasing speed andputting under load.
Note:During the first 50 hours of running theengine, do not exceed 70% of maximumload.

14. Move throttle lever to the idle positionand allow engine to run at idle for a fewminutes.
15. Move the stop leverfully to the left until theengine stops.
16. Rotate the key anti-clockwise to the stopposition.

Checking & Adjusting Pull, Return & Swage Pressures...
Pull Pressure (FIG.4)(refer to Utilisation (page 6) for correctsetting)
1. With the engine running at operatingspeed, observe the display on the DigitalPressure Switch (Swage Pressure). Thiswill show the unit of measurement set andwill periodically show “bAr” or “PSI”.
Note:When facing the hydraulic connectors, theDigital Pressure Switch (Swage Pressure),is on the right hand side.
2. Connect a remote electrical trigger (or theplug/cable from a non-Bobtail InstallationTool), to the Powerig electrical connector34.
3. Operate theremote Triggermomentarily andnote pressurereading displayed onthe Digital PressureSwitch.
CAUTIONComplete this test as quickly as possibleto prevent overload of hydrauliccomponents.
4. Refer to FIG. 4 and adjust the PullPressure to suit the Installation Tool beingused. Refer to Utilisation (Page 6) and/orthe Installation Tool Instruction Manual forcorrect Pull Pressure setting. Only makesmall adjustments (1/4 turn) at one time. Donot remove any pre-installed washers orlocknut from the adjusting screw.
5. Check the Pull Pressure again asdescribed above. Repeat adjustment ifnecessary until correct value is obtained.
6. Once the Pull Pressure has been set,tighten the Lock Nut on the AdjustmentScrew to ensure setting is retained. Checkthe pressure one more time to ensure it hadnot changed whilst tightening the Lock Nut.

Notes:a) The diesel engine does not have to berunning during checking or adjustment ofthe return pressure but the key must be inposition 1.
b) When facing the hydraulic connectors,the Digital Pressure Switch (ReturnPressure), is on the left hand side.
c) The Digital Pressure Switches are able tomeasure two SEPARATE pressure switchpoints; S1 & S2. Only the S1 is used andfor the Return Pressure, the normallyclosed (N/C) switch contacts are utilised. Ifthe left hand indicator light is on, then theN/C contacts are closed.

6. Consecutive pressing of S1 will changethe value of the digit over the cursor from 1to 9 and then 0.
7. When the required value shown, pressS2 and the cursor will move to the rightunder the next digit.
8. Continue adjusting each digit in turn.Pressing S2 after adjusting the last digit willchange the display back to “S1”.
9. Pressing the S1 buttonwill change the display tothe next menu item.r1 is the value at whichthe Return Pressure (S1),resets to zero and shouldbe set at 50 bar (725 psi).Press S2 to check thesetting. If it is necessary to change thesetting then follow the procedure as in steps6 & 7.
10 Press S1 to continueto the next menu itemwhich is S2.The S2 & r2 switch pointsare not used.
The next steps will savethe settings...
11. Press the S2 buttonseveral times until thedisplay shows “Stor”.
12. Press the S2 buttonand the display will show “no”. Press the S1 buttonto change the display to“yes”.

Swage Pressure (FIG 4(only applicable when using IT type tools.Refer to Utilisation (page 6) for correctsetting)
Note:When using IT type Bobtail InstallationTools, fitted to the Powerig connector 35with the electrical 8 pin Lemo Plug, theDigital Pressure Switch (Swage Pressure)6, controls the hydraulic pressure to the toolduring the pull cycle. This in turn controlsthe amount (length) of Bobtail fastenerCollar swage. The higher the pressure, themore the Collar is swaged.This Digital Pressure Switch is checked andadjusted using the same procedure as thatfor the Digital Pressure Switch for theReturn Pressure as previously explained.The indicator will light not be illuminated asthe normally open contacts should be in theopen condition.Set a Swage Pressure just above theminimum required for the Nose AssemblyAnvil to just lightly contact the CollarFlange. A circular witness mark around theCollar flange will indicate the Anvil contact.On most large diameter (12 mm (1/2”) andabove), Bobtail Collars have a series ofraised nodules around the flange which willbe crushed by contact with the Anvil.
Do not adjust the Swage Pressure too highas this increases the risk of Bobtail groovesbeing stripped/damaged or the Bobtail beingbroken away from the Pin. In either event,this will prevent a Bobtail Collar Cutter frombeing used to remove the installed fastener.
14. Inspect hoses, electrical cords andconnections frequently for signs ofdamage or ageing. If necessary replace.
15. Connect both hoses of the InstallationTool, (or if being used with a Hose Set,connect the Hose Set), to the Powerig.Activate the Tool Trigger to fully cycle theTool, or if using an “IT” type Bobtail Tool,then use a remote trigger attached to thePowerig connector 34.Note:
It is not possible to cycle IT type BobtailTool s using it’s own trigger unless the toolLimit Switch is activated (contacts close).Therefore a remote Trigger as describedabove must be used.
CAUTIONBTT series tools do not have a DumpValve to relieve hydraulic pressure fromthe front of the Piston. Therefore, release the triggerimmediately when the tool Piston hasstopped moving.
CAUTIONSome types of Installation Tool (e.g. BTTand SFBTT series, extend in lengthduring operation.
16. When using tools other than BTT BobtailTools, continue to press the trigger forapprox. 4 seconds when the Tool Piston hasstopped moving. Release the Trigger andand allow the Tool Piston to return to thestarting position. Repeat three times.This will ensure that any air in the hydraulicsystem is removed.
Note:New Hose Sets or individual hoses my notcontain any hydraulic fluid and the air mustbe removed. To do this, connect one pair ofcouplings at one end of the Hose set, to thePowerig. Connect the other pair of Hoseset couplings to each other. With thePowerig running, activate the remotetrigger/tool trigger and then release. Waitapprox. 45 seconds, then stop the Powerig.Check the Powerig hydraulic oil level beforecontinuing.
17. Check the Pull Pressure again and re-closes-adjust if necessary. Tighten the LockNut toensure settings to not change.
Connecting and testing a Bobtail Tool (after completing previous steps 1 to17).
IT type Bobtail Tools....
1. Inspect hoses, electrical cords andconnections frequently for signs ofdamage or ageing. If necessary replace.
2. Remove the remote trigger from thePowerig.
3. Connect the Hydraulic Couplings of theTool or Hose Set to the hydrauliccouplings 18 & 19 of the Powerig.
4. Connect the plug of the Bobtail Tool orHose Set to the Powerig ElectricalConnector 35.
WARNINGTO AVOID THE RISK OF PERSONAL
INJURY, TEMPORARILY DISCONNECTTHE TOOL ELECTRICAL PLUG FROMTHE POWERIG WHILST FITTING THE
NOSE ASSEMBLY TO THE TOOL.
5. Attach the Nose Assembly to the tool inaccordance with instructions contained inthe Instruction Manual for the tool or asshown.
6. Check operation of the tool LimitSwitches by locating the Bobtail part ofthe fastener as far as possible into theNose Assembly Puller. The Limit Switchlight on the Tool should illuminate.
Note:The Powerig will not allow Fastenerinstallation unless the tool Limit Switch isactivated. If it fails to activate, then checkthat the Nose Assembly has beenassembled onto the Tool correctly. Also,check for correct Limit Switch adjustment,(refer to the Instruction Manual for thetool).
7. Prepare a sample joint with the BobtailFastener. Place the Collar (see notebelow), onto the Pin.
Note:Only Bobtail Fasteners of 12 mm (1/2”)diameter or larger, have thread formlocking grooves into which a tab on theCollar locates. Rotating the Collar willenable it to be screwed hand tight to thejoint face.
8. Locate the Nose Assembly Puller ontothe Bobtail grooves of the fastener Pin.The Nose Assembly should be in line withthe axis of the fastener Pin.
9. Press and hold the tool Trigger. TheNose Assembly Puller will retract into theAnvil, closing around the end of Pin. TheAnvil will be forced forward toward theCollar Flange to complete the Collarswaging/forming. When the SwagePressure is reached, the Tool/NoseAssembly will eject automatically from theinstalled fastener, even if the Trigger iskept depressed. When the NoseAssembly Anvil is free from the Collar, thePuller will release from the end of the Pinand enable the Tool/Nose Assembly to beremoved from the installed fastener.
10. Release the tool Trigger.
11. The installed fastener should bechecked with the correct Bobtail Fastenerinspection Gauge to ensure correct Collarswage. Adjust the Swage Pressure ifnecessary.
Note:Set a Swage Pressure just above theminimum pressure required for the NoseAssembly Anvil to just lightly contact theCollar Flange. A circular witness markaround the Collar flange will indicate theAnvil contact. On most large diameter (12mm (1/2”) and above), Bobtail Collars havea series of raised nodules around the flange

Follow steps 1 to 11 as for theIT type tools but in step 4. connect theplug of the Bobtail tool to the PowerigElectrical Connector 34
DT type Bobtail tools and non-Bobtailtools fitted with Bobtail NoseAssemblies...
Note:When using DT type tools, the hydraulicPull Pressure (as set with the MainPressure Relief Valve 5), controls the Collarswaging. Ensure this has been adjusted tothe correct value before attempting to installa fastener. The Digital Pressure Switch 6 isnot utilised.

Preparation for Regular Use
Before each Powerig operation, performthe following:
1. Inspect hoses, electrical cords andconnections frequently for signs ofdamage or ageing. If necessary replace.
2. Regularly check engine oil level andhydraulic fluid level.
3. Connect the Pull and Return HydraulicConnectors of the Tool or Hose Set to thePowerig Hydraulic Connectors 18 & 19. Connect the Electrical Plug of the Tool orHose Set to the Powerig connection 34 or35 according to the tool being used.
4. Check that all electrical and hydraulicconnectors of the Tool and Hose Sets areproperly attached.
5. Cycle the Tool several times tocirculate the oil through the Powerigvalves, hoses and Tool.
CAUTIONDo not attempt to operate the Toolwithout the Tool hoses attached to thePowerig. When using HPT tools,release trigger immediately at the endof the pull stroke.
8. Powerig is ready for use.

1. Before carrying out any maintenance,remove the key from the engine KeySwitch to avoid accidental starting andelectrical damage.
2. Regularly inspect the hydraulic fluid. Ifcontamination particles larger than 20 umare present, then replace fluid. Goodpractice is to replace the hydraulic fluidevery 12 Months to avoid ageing effects.
Note:The introduction of foreign material intothe hydraulic system can result in poorperformance and repair downtime.Observe the following practices:
3. When filling or adding oil, always use aclean funnel with a maximum 60 micronfilter. Ensure that correct fluid is used.
4. Always ensure that hose couplings arefree from dirt before attachment of Tools.
5. All hydraulic hoses should be renewedevery five years.
Notes:
A) Mixing different manufacturers/kinds ofhydraulic oil can cause a chemicalreaction relating to resin or sludge.Contact the manufacturer for advise toavoid any problems. In any case, alltraces of the original oil must be removedby rinsing (washing out) all hydrauliccomponents.If filling/draining the Powerig, ensure thathydraulic fluids are not accidentallyswitched.
B) Hydraulic fluids should be disposed ofaccording to the environmentalguidelines/legislation applicable in thecountry where the unit is being maintainedand/or used. Please also consult theguidelines of your individual oil

Adding Hydraulic Fluid
1. Ensure that equipment is readilyavailable to deal with any spillage ofhydraulic fluid.
2. Remove the screws from the top coverand remove cover. This will provide betteraccess to the Filler.Alternatively, use a short length of flexibletubing between the funnel and the filler.
3. Before removing the filler cap, use aclean wipe to remove any accumulateddirt from the filler cap and surroundingarea. Remove the filler cap.
5. Locate a clean funnel into the filling portand place an absorbent wipe around thefunnel spout to soak up any excess fluid.
6. Before adding any hydraulic fluid, checkthat it is the correct type and grade. (Referto page 28).
7. Slowly add the new hydraulic fluid,pausing regularly to allow fluid in thefunnel to flow into the pump reservoir andalso preventing accidental spillage.
8. Continue to add fluid until it rises to thetop of the Oil Level/Temperature Gaugeglass.
9. Remove the funnel and replace thefiller cap. Ensure filler cap is handtightened.
10. Clean any fluid spillage with absorbentwipes. Replace cover and secure inplace using the screws.

Draining Hydraulic Fluid......
1. Ensure that equipment is readilyavailable to deal with any spillage ofhydraulic fluid.
2. If possible, place the Powerig onto anoil tray or draining sink sufficient to retain14 ltrs (3.11 Gals.) of fluid.
3. Remove the screws from the rearcover and remove cover.
4. Use a clean wipe to remove anyaccumulated dirt from around the areawhere Hydraulic Hose 13 is connected tothe Pump.
5. Disconnect Hydraulic Hose 13 from thePump and drain the oil into a suitablecontainer which has a minimum capacityof 14 ltrs (3.11 Gals.).
6. After the oil has completely drainedfrom the reservoir, re-closes-connect thehose to the pump and tighten.
7. Clean any fluid spillage with absorbentwipes.
Note:Do not replace the rear cover until thereservoir has been re-closes-filled withnew oil and the Powerig has been runningfor a few minutes. This will allow checks
to be made for any leakage from the hoseconnection. re-closes-tighten the hoseconnection if any leakage is observed.
8. Clean any remaining fluid spillage withabsorbent wipes before replacing the rearcover and tightening the screws.
Maintenance
1. Before carrying out any maintenance,remove the key from the engine to avoidaccidental starting and electrical damage.
2. Electrical components are only allowedto be repaired and/or replaced by aqualified electrician.
3. Hydraulic components are only allowedto be repaired and/or replaced by aqualified mechanic.
4. Refer to the engine manualssupplied with this Powerig for furthermaintenance details.

LIMITED WARRANTIES
Tooling Warranty: Huck warrants that tooling andother items (excluding fasteners, and hereinafterreferred as "other items") manufactured by Huck shallbe free from defects in workmanship and materialsfor a period of ninety (90) days from the date oforiginal purchase.
Warranty on "non standard or custommanufactured products": With regard to non-standard products or custom manufactured productsto customer's specifications, Huck warrants for aperiod of ninety (90) days from the date of purchasethat such products shall meet Buyer's specifications,be free of defects in workmanship and materials.Such warranty shall not be effective with respect tonon-standard or custom products manufactured usingbuyer-supplied molds, material, tooling and fixturesthat are not in good condition or repair and suitablefor their intended purpose.
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTENDBEYOND THE DESCRIPTION ON THE FACEHEREOF. HUCK MAKES NO OTHERWARRANTIES AND EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANYOTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIEDWARRANTIES AS TO MERCHANTABILITY OR ASTO THE FITNESS OF THE TOOLING, OTHERITEMS, NONSTANDARD OR CUSTOMMANUFACTURED PRODUCTS FOR ANYPARTICULAR PURPOSE AND HUCK SHALL NOTBE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE,DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM THEUSE OF SUCH TOOLING, OTHER ITEMS,NONSTANDARD OR CUSTOM MANUFACTUREDPRODUCTS OR BREACH OF WARRANTY ORFOR ANY CLAIM FOR INCIDENTAL ORCONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Huck's sole liability and Buyer's exclusive remedy forany breach of warranty shall be limited, at Huck'soption, to replacement or repair, at FOB Huck's plant,of Huck manufactured tooling, other items,nonstandard or custom products found to bedefective in specifications, workmanship andmaterials not otherwise the direct or indirect cause ofBuyer supplied molds, material, tooling or fixtures.Buyer shall give Huck written notice of claims fordefects within the ninety (90) day warranty period fortooling, other items, nonstandard or custom productsdescribed above and Huck shall inspect products forwhich such claim is made.
Tooling, Part(s) and Other Items notmanufactured by Huck.
HUCK MAKES NO WARRANTY WITH RESPECTTO THE TOOLING, PART(S) OR OTHER ITEMSMANUFACTURED BY THIRD PARTIES. HUCKEXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTYEXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AS TO THECONDITION DESIGN OPERATION
MERCHANTABLITY OR FITNESS FOR USE OFANY TOOL, PART(S), OR OTHER ITEMSTHEREOF NOT MANUFACTURED BY HUCK.HUCK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSOR DAMAGE, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY,ARISING FROM THE USE OF SUCH TOOLING,PART(S) OR OTHER ITEMS OR BREACH OFWARRANTY OR FOR ANY CLAIM FORINCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
The only warranties made with respect to such tool,part(s) or other items thereof are those made by themanufacturer thereof and Huck agrees to cooperatewith Buyer in enforcing such warranties when suchaction is necessary.
Huck shall not be liable for any loss or damageresulting from delays or nonfulfillment of orders owingto strikes, fires, accidents, transportation companiesor for any reason or reasons beyond the control ofthe Huck or its suppliers.
Huck Installation Equipment
Huck International, Inc. reserves the right to makechanges in specifications and design and todiscontinue models without notice.
Huck Installation Equipment should be serviced bytrained service technicians only.
Always give the Serial Number of the equipmentwhen corresponding or ordering service parts.
