Human trafficking is the trade in humans, most commonly for the purpose of sexual slavery, forced labor or for the extraction of organs or tissues, including surrogacy and ova removal.

Surrogacy is an arrangement in which a woman carries and delivers a child for another couple or person.

Ova is the female reproductive cell.

Men, woman and children are abused and beat everyday of human trafficking. There lives revolve around violence, drugs and constant threats.

Most human trafficking is used for prostitution, forced into strip clubs, and put on the streets to walk.

Where

Human trafficking is happening all across the world, the places with the highest trafficking rate is Southeast Asia, the former Soviet Union, Central and South America, Asia, the Middle East, Western Europe, and North America.

100,000 people are currently human trafficking victims in the U.S.

293,000 American youths are currently at risk of human trafficking, the majority of these victims are runaway or thrown away youths that are now living on the streets.

Milwaukee is well known for pimps and prostitutes. Most of the other states pimps and prostitutes actually come from Milwaukee.

When The average age for when girls become victims is 12 to 14, but it is not

only girls that are affected by human trafficking the average age for boys to become victims is 11 to 13. They can take you at any age, but if they take you at a young age which is mainly what they are for you grow up with them in that lifestyle until you get out.

Human trafficking can happen at anytime, it is coming to the united states a lot more now. These people can easily just take you off the street at any moment while your just walking around with no problem.

Why

Why does any crime happen, people have personal issues that they bounce over to someone else. Most people who are committing these crimes have been abused themselves or had a bad childhood. Its not an excuse, but they think it’s a way to get away from there own troubles. You see this everyday with the people around you. Kids around you who have troublesome lifestyles are known to be more aggressive, or the ones who are finding something else to take away their pain of abuse or suffering. These things that we mainly are exposed to now are the kinds who abuse drugs, alcohol or result to fighting and maybe even crime.

Most of these pimps are also in it for the money, pleasure and the feeling for getting away from there own problems.

How

Human trafficking abusers know what they are doing, they know how to steal you out of nowhere, they also know how to just lure you out of your house. When you need a “get me out of here” they will do anything they can to make you feel comfortable. Till one day they take you, your whole world is gone. Now your too scared to say anything to anyone because of the abuse you will get if your pimp finds out. This is how human trafficking goes on for years.

Power

Government has not been doing as much as they can to stop human trafficking.

They have trained certain police officers and investigators to look for these people but its not the most they can do.

Keep your eyes open, try to always be with someone else when you go off somewhere relatively busy or somewhere where you are not familiar. Stay safe.
