Inauguration of

Humanity First provides humanitarian aid to implement self sustaining development. Our mission is to serve disaster struck and socially disadvantaged individuals and families in the poorer communities of the world. Humanity First is registered in 34 countries across 6 continents, and has been working on human development projects and responding to disasters since 1995. Over 93% of donated funds are spent directly on aid projects. With the majority of our labour being volunteers, Humanity First is able to deliver a value of aid many times the value of donations provided.

On July 15th, 2012, Humanity First Canada moved into their new national office – a training center and food bank facility at 600 Bowes Rd., Concord, Ontario. The facility was inaugurated by His Holiness, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V aa. The new office has room for many of Humanity First Canada’s local programs, including facilities such as classrooms, large storage area, training rooms, computer labs, and also offices for administration, marketing, finance, etc. The following is a compilation of photographs from this historic inauguration.

In 1993, during the growing crisis in Bosnia at the time of war Hadhrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad ra, the fourth caliph of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community founded a relief organization by the name of Humanity First, with the mission to help ease the suffering and create a sustainable future for the victims of war, aggression, famine and natural disaster, without discrimination of race, religion, color or creed.

His vision of Humanity First was to selflessly serve mankind, and guided by his prayers Humanity First has done just this . From Europe to Africa, Humanity First has extended its operations to 34 countries today, and is actively working and growing every day.
