Testing Season is right around the corner.

Testing begins for all grades the first week of March.

Please understand the testing season begins the first week

of March and continues through the end of the year. Still

to come this year for every grade level: End-of-Chapter/

Unit tests, End-of-Course tests, Star Reading, Star Math,

DFA testing, DE testing and the FSAs. Testing is happening

for someone in the building almost every day.

Students need to be in school as much as possible. Emer-

gencies do arise, but please do not schedule regular annu-

al dentist or doctor appointments during the school day

and please avoid tardies and early dismissals.

Students need to be well rested and well fed. Please be

sure your students are getting enough sleep, eating a

healthy breakfast and packing a healthy lunch.

Thank you for your help.

What is the Kaye Walton Foundation?

The Kaye Walton Foundation supports R. B. Hunt students in need of help to pay for everything from everyday things

like field trips and school supplies to big things like emergency housing and transportation. Your $10 entry fee, com-

bined with hundreds of others, can make a real difference in the life of a fellow Islander!

To inspire you to support this cause, Mrs. Parkey will bake brownies for every class in the building who gets as many

registrations as there are students in their classroom! Remember, virtual registrations are encouraged; you are allowed

to register and support the school even if you cannot make it on the day of the Run4Hunt. So get out there and recruit!

Be our Valentine!
