1. Login screen NEW

This is a front page is displayed when you access HWM.

1) Use your current user ID and password.


2. Menu screen (front page) NEW

Work items are selected on this screen.


1) Items on the menu screen (Top page)

(1) is displayed on the information of the HWM.

This page column looks like the screen below and contains commentsrelated to information of HWM.

(2) Flat rate table search

① is operation code table.

Click this tub, a list of model codes (engine model codes) will be displayed in the middle of the screen. Model code you wish to search can be selected.


③ Select a model code (engine model code) under “MODEL” section to

search an operation code. ＊Select “XKU＊(N04C＊＊)”.

② In this tab, select a vehicle category (such as HDT, MDT, LDT).

④ Select an area. NEW

In this screen, select an area by clicking a number. The next screen will be displayed.01：Engine related 07：Steering related

02：Clutch related 08：Suspension related

03：Transmission related 09：Frame related

04：Propeller Shaft related 10：Cab related

05：Differential related 11：Body related

06：Brake related 12：Electrical system related

⑤ Select a component of a area. NEWIf “01 Engine” is selected at step ④, illustrations of components related to engine will be displayed. (including electrical components)

There are two ways to select a component.

A：Click an illustration, and it will jump to ascreen for step ⑥.

B：Click a component name shown belowan illustration, and itwill jump to a screenfor step ⑧.

Note 1) Magnifier next to an illustration can enlarge the illustration. Please refer to the reference material ---------- for operation.


⑥ Select a sub-component. NEW

If “W02: Main Moving Parts” is selected at step ⑤, sub-components related to “W02: Main Moving Parts” will be displayed.

There are two ways to select a sub-component.

A：Click an illustration. It will jump to a screen for step ⑦.

B：Click a sub-component name shown below an illustration. It will jump toa screen for step ⑦.

Note 1) Magnifier next to an illustration can enlarge the illustration. Please refer to the reference material --------- for operation.


This function shows hidden part of information for one operation code on the screen without scrolling.

⑦ Select a sub-component. NEW

If “022: Crankshaft Relation Parts” is selected at step ⑥, sub-components related to “022: Crankshaft Relation Parts” will be displayed.


⑧ Folders related to “Main Moving Parts” are displayed.If sub-component is selected at step ⑤, relevant sub-component names aredisplayed.Sub-component can be selected from folders as with the current function or fromthe link for “Main Moving Parts” displayed on the right side of the screen.

＊Click a link which is next to a sub-component name displayed on the right side of the screen. Relevant items will be displayed.・The same screen as step ⑦ on

page 8 will be displayed.


(2) Warranty code book search

① is warranty code book.

Click this tab, the following screen will be displayed.

Note 1) PDF data can bedownloaded from here.

＊Click “Warrant Code Book”displayed in the middle of thescreen to start searching.


② Select an area. NEW

Operation is the same as flat rate search.

In this screen, select an area by clicking a number. The next screen will be displayed.01：Engine related 07：Steering related

⑤ Select a subcomponent. NEW

If “022: Crankshaft Relation Parts” is selected at step ④, sub-components related to “022: Crankshaft Relation Parts” will be displayed.Operation is the same as flat rate search.

⑥ Display phenomenon code. NEW

Click “Phenomenon Code” displayed on the screen, and phenomenon code table will pop up. Select a phenomenon code relevant to a problem.

This is the end of searching flat rate table and warranty code table.


(3) Link between flat rate manual and warranty code book.

This function allows to jump from flat rate manual to warranty code book as well

as to jump from warranty code book to flat rate manual.

・Click the relevant link button to jump from flat rate manual to warranty code.

It jumps to the list of relevant warranty codes.

・Click the link button to jump from the warranty code book to flat rate manual.

The screen which you can select a model will be displayed.

Place the pointer over the subject model, and click it.

A relevant flat rate manual will pop up.

(4) Searching flat rate manual and warranty code book

① is warranty code book.

Click this tab, and the following screen will be displayed.

Although this function is the same as current one, the display has been changed.

Enter search conditions here to search data.

There are two ways to search.

One is searching by code, and the other one is searching by model, series and so on.


② Enter search conditions, and click “Search”.

A list of warranty codes matching search conditions is displayed.

3. Functions

Functions available in each display are explained here.

1) How to use the magnifier shown on the next to an illustration (Note 1)

Click on a magnifier.The selected illustration is enlarged.

2) Operation buttons on illustration screen

(1) “AREA” button

・Click on “AREA”, and it will return to the screen to select an area.


(2)”Toc on/off” buttons

Click “Toc off/on”, and folders list shown on the left side of the screen will be

displayed and be hidden.

Display the folders list.

Hide the folder list.


(3) “Split horizontally” and “Split vertically” buttons

・Click “Split horizontally”, and layout of illustration and code list will changes.

The illustration and the code list are displayed side by side.

The illustration and the code list are displayed one above the other.


(4) “Book note” button・ “Click “Book note”, and notes feature, which you can write down codes or

other information, will be available.

Please refer to the full version of HWM manual for operation and details of functions.


(5) “Print” button・ An illustration and a code list displayed on the screen can be printed out in

PDF format.

Print setup is specified in this window.・Print only illustration・Print only code list・Print both・Paper size

・Print preview in PDF format is displayed.To print, click “printer” button on the screen.

・To save the data in PDF file, click “save” button.


(6) Illustration data・ The size and display position of an illustration can be changed using the

operation menu within the red frame in the following screen.

Reset the size and displaylocation of an illustration.

Display an operation menu.

Make an operation menunot displayed.

Maximize an illustration and the data are not displayed.When click this menu once again, return to an original screen.

Display an operation method.

When drag this icon, illustration can move optionally.


(7) Click a button within the blue frame in the following screen, and an illustration can be enlarged on the screen. (Codes list is hidden temporarily.)

1. Click the FULL in this screen.

The screen changes2. This screen is displayed after clicking the FULL at step 1.3. The screen goes back to the original

layout after clicking the FULL at step 2.

(8) Zoom in and out an illustration.

・The sliding icon is original position andillustration.

・When moved a slide icon to the zoom inside, whole illustration is displayed by sub screen.
