TANK ASSEMBLY: oil tanks built with the latest technology to ensure the highest reliability e longer lifetime as well as an exte-rior aspect that can be perfectly integrated on the mo-dern trucks. They are available in 4 different versions: painted with grey epoxy powder (RAL 7021); stainless steel; textured stainless steel and aluminum. They are supplied complete with support brackets, straps and rubber protections, fi ller and breather cap with replace-able air fi lter, oil level gauge and fl ange for fi lter options.

SPACERS MOUNTING KIT FOR SIDE TANKS

Spacer kits created to make side tanks mounting on truck tractors easier, they have a universal drilling suitable for hole pattern on all European vehicles. The fl at version is 8mm high and is useful to compensate the thickness of fi xing angles on thrust ring. The bent version is useful to bring into alignment the support brackets on tank when they are mounted on the front part of chassis. The version with 2,5° angle is specifi cally created for Scania vehicles while the version with 4,5° is suitable for all other brands. TROUBLE POSSIBLE REASON SOLUTION

No oil fl ow from pump

No oil in reservoir. Fill reservoir with appropriate fl uid.See pump manufacturer’s specifi cations

Ball valve of oil tank closed Open valve.

Suction hose closed Verify suction hose

Pump is wrong rotation for application. Replace or alter direction of rotation of pump to correct rotation.

Hoses are reversed. Change inlet and pressure hose locations.

PTO not engaged. Engage the PTO

Pump worn or damaged. Repair or replace pump

Pump will not build/hold pressure Pump worn or damaged. Repair or replace pump.

No oil fl ow from valve to service port

Relief valve of distributor valve set not correctly. Adjust relief valve

Relief valve stuck open. Remove, clean, and re-set the releif valve

Check air connection is provided; Make sure fi xing bolts of the valve body are not too tight. Tighten bolts as per torque specifi cations.See valve manufacturer’s specifi cations

breather or strainer; Inlet hose should be SAE type 100R4 hose only.

Pump leaks at shaft oil-seal

Dirt under seal. Replace seal. Examine pump shaft if damaged.

Damaged seal or pump body. Replace seal or body section.

Improperly fi tted seal. Replace seal.

Damaged o’ring or body. Replace o’ring or body section.

Loose bolts. Tighten bolts as per torque to specifi cation.

Pump leaks at body sectionLoose fi tting. Tighten fi tting.

Damaged fi tting. Replace fi tting.

At pump port Damaged pump body. Replace body section.

Pump is hot (Oil temperature should not exceed 60º/70° C)

Low oil level. Fill oil tank.

Low oil level. Fill tank.

Damaged pump shaft oil-seal. Replace seal.

Leak in suction hose. Replace hose.
