G401Universal multifunctional datalogger 8/16 channels, is designed for remote data acquisition of the main electric transducers and vibrating wire, represented on the market.

The basic module consists of multiplexer of 8 and can be expended to a multiplexer of 16 maximum channels. Each channel is characterized by a four-way termi-nal block for electrical connection of a sensor with a multiplexer.

The datalogger is equipped with display which is used for the channel configuration and display of data, and SD card which saves the system configurations and acquisitions.Operation even at 12 Vdc battery eliminates awkward network connections.

Configuration via G401 module lets you store all the configuration parameters directly on SD card, only using the display and keypad with 4 buttons integrat-ed in the module.

Stored data retrieval is conceived to answer the de-mands of comfort and safety of users.In fact, monitoring facilities are often installed in places particularly uncomfortable and dangerous for the connection with PC.

G401 simplifies these operations, saving recorded data on SD card. Just removing the SD card from the module G401 and inserting it into a card reader connected to your PC will make possible to obtain information.Thanks to display it will be possible to read data manually on-site. This feature is especially convenient during installa-tion and verification of the system.G401 can be configured and used for semi-dynamic acquisitions.

The technology used in ultra-low energy consumption guarantees an average life of about a year in maximum configuration. The datalogger also has an optional external power supply 119/220 Vac by connector or by solar cell 5W panel.

The configuration of G401 can be realized in two different modes:- by the use of PC- directly from the module G401

Configuration by the use of PC needs simple and intuitive software, requiring no special computer knowledge. This software allows setting all the parameters required to make a correct sampling cycle.

GSMG401 can be integrated into a GSM module for trans-mitting the stored data, making it directly accessible on the operator’s PC, thus eliminating connections to the telephone network and the necessity to be pres-ent at the place of installation for data downloading.

Through the GSM module it is also possible to change at a distance some parameters of the datalogger, such as, for example, the sampling period, the dis-abling/enabling channel and the time of data down-loading on PC.

RADIO MODULEG401 can be supplemented by a radio module, also making possible the connection of more G401 to a single radio receiver module installed directly on the operator’s PC, thus creating a real instrument net-work in a star configuration.

The network allows to visualize and immediately convert in graphics all the values, received from the individual transducers.

A radio module also makes acquisitions remotely by operating directly from the workstation.

By means of specific software options, it is possible to manage the whole system remotely via Internet, with the possibility of recovering data, receiving individual readings and modify the parameters of acquisition.
