The entry level toughened float glass option is a longer-term investment than plastic and acrylic screens, they are more durable, will not scratch or discolour and they will prove cost-effective in terms of their life cycle. In addition, as glass is a non-porous material it will aid in controlling the spread of infections as it can be easily disinfected. The innovative system allows for multiple configurations using a combination of components. The metal fixing systems are robust and can be re-used with alternative glass options in the future, such as double- sided magnetic glass, printed panels, or coloured laminates. The glass is toughened to EN12150 and the screens can have cut outs for till points and service areas. The glass can also be coated with a specialist coating to reduce the adhesion of fingerprints and other surface debris. Hospitality Configurations Moveable screens can be created up to 2m in ln length to sperate dining areas in hospitality environments. A more heavy-duty option is also available, but not currently shown, which is suitable for exterior use and glass up to 12mm.
