Abstract

Originating virtual port-ID, source MAC hash, load-based teaming, IP hash, explicit failover order. Do these terms ring a bell? Do you know the best connectivity scheme for each of those? Come to this session and you'll learn Cisco's best practices in terms of Hypervisor to physical switch connectivity. We will dive into the networking details of three Hypervisors: VMware's ESXi, Microsoft's Hyper-V and Xen and present how to use their networking features with Cisco switches.
