A RESOLUTIONADOPTING THE CITY OF PERRY FIVE YEAR
SHORT-TERM WORK PROGRAM UPDATE
WHEREAS, the LegisIatire of the State of Georgia, through House Bill215, has required that all communities in the State prepare and adopt five-yearwork plan updates in compliance with prescribed standards; and
WHEREAS, the City of Perry has prepared a five-year work plan update forthe next five years (2002 — 2006), which satisfies all applicable standards of theGeorgia Planning Act of 1989; and
WHEREAS, the City of Perry has solicited public input (September 18,2001 public hearing) in the five-year plan update preparation process accordingto the methods prescribed in the Georgia Planning Act of 1989; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council have submitted the five-year workprogram update to the Middle Georgia Regional Development Center for reviewin accordance with the Georgia Planning Act of 1989.
Now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and CityCouncil meeting in formal session authorized Mayor Worrall to sign thisresolution adopting the City of Perry’s Five-Year Short-Term Work ProgramUpdate.
