A Nevis Bulkhead Luminaire comprises an oval body and cover manufactured from aluminium, brass or gunmetal. Thecover is fitted with a wellglass sealed in pace by a silicone cement. The body has an integral increased safety terminal box.The flameproof enclosure may be fitted with various lamps, lamp holders, and associated control gear. The flameproofenclosure wall may be fitted with up to 2 line bushings which provide interconnection to th€ increased safety terminalchamber.

The luminaire may be fitted with yarious lamps as detailed below.

Intemal and extemal earth facilities are provided.

The lamp types, electrical Etings, temperature classifications, operating temperatures and ambient temperatures whenfitted with each lamp type are detailed below.

The enclosure is fitted with a delay before opening label, this label may be replaced with a label advising Do.not openwhen an explosive atmosphere is present.
