ln the compet i t ion which awarded "The Shi f t ingHeart" f irst place, Alan's play "Swamp
C.reatures' was given a special mention, afterwhich it reached the f inals in the New SouthWales Country Drama Eisteddfod, and only lastweek it was televised in Sydney.
Alan is writ ing a new play at the moment, andwe wish him all the success he deserves.
The play is set in a Sydney working-class home.
