We would understand that, as per GC 5.2.2 standard
Defect Liability Period is 540 days from the date of
Completion of the Facilities or one year from the date of
Operational Acceptance of the Facilities whichever occurs
first.
We understand that critical components subject to
extended defect liability period are: 400/200kV
Transformer, the circuit breaker and the substation control
system.
Finally, we understand that extended liability period for
the above mentioned critical components as per GC 5.2.10
is 24 months following Operational Acceptance.
