E. Career Coaching
Day to day, we are confronted with the sight of jobseekers lined-up to apply for job only to be rejected later on. It is a wonder why there are still a lot of jobless people when classified
ads abound with numerous spreads of job vacancies. On the other hand, employers continue to search for the right workers for vacancies in their firms. This situation tells us that
unemployment does not always mean a lack of jobs. It may actually be a result of a job and skills mismatch.
This activity aims to inform graduating high school students the current trends and
demands in the labor market and the courses matched to the available vacancies which may increase their chance of landing a job after graduating from college.
