i-SAFE Curriculum Download Processi-SAFE builds associations with schools, districts and other public and private education entities to educate and empower students in all fifty states, and around the world, to be safe and responsible online.The i-SAFE curriculum includes several hundred standards-based e-Safety lesson plans, interactive learning activities and cutting-edge videos, spanning grades K through 12, for a comprehensive approach to teaching e-Safety in today’s Web 2.0 world—safety, responsibility and security online. The lessons are easy to integrate and they align to standards in classes such as technology, library/media, social studies, health and safety, even language arts.The curriculum is posted on the i-SAFE Web site for educators at participating institutions to conveniently access and download individual lesson plans at each grade level.The following process will allow access to all i-SAFE lessons.
Step 1: Navigate to http://www.isafe.org.
Step 2: Login to the i-SAFE Web site.Login – usernamePassword – ******After login the browser will automatically navigate to your personal “My Info” page.Select curriculum grade level.
Step 3: Select a curriculum topic.
Step 4: Download the curriculum folder to your local computer.Open the curriculum files using a file compression application (i.e., Winzip, Winrar). If you do not have a compression application on your computer you will need to install one. Winzip can be installed from www.winzip.com.
Step 5: View the curriculum.
