On Monday evening, June 20th, at 8 p.m. at East Rocka-way High School, the East Rock-away Board of Education will discuss, report on and/or ap-prove the following items:
Reports on Gifted Grants, High Tax Relief, "OUver!", Status of Transportation Bill, Update from Architect; Report on Child STudy Team Recom-mendations, and Family Life Program, Announcement of Re-tiring Personnel; Recommenda-tions for Hiring Teachers, Ele-mentary School Principal, High School Assistant Principal; Director of Special Education; Supper School Administrator and Summer School Teachers, and Acceptance and Award of Bids.
SHRINE BALL The Shrine of Our Lady of
the Island in Eastport will celebrate its 11th anniversary this year.
To commemorate the occa-sion, Rev. William J. Vigliotta, director of the Shrine, will hold his Annual Ball in honor of the Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Virgil C, Dechant, KSH, at the Patchogue K of C on Saturday, July 9th. For tickets call 541-7108.
4th BATTALION PARADE/DRILL
The Rockville Centre Fire Dept. will host the 4th Battalion Parade and Drill on June 25th and 26th. The 4th Battalion is made up of F i re , Departments from Rockville Centre, East Rockaway, Lynbrook and Mal-verne.
The Parade will be held on Saturday evening commencing at 6:30 p.m. It will step off on Maple and Morris Avenues and proceed east to Long Beach Road, then north to Seaman Avenue, then east to Knollwood Road, then north into Firemen's Field where a giant Block Party will be held.
On Sunday morning, the Drill will be held at Fireman's Field commencing at 11 a.m., concluding about 4 p.m. It will be an old fashioned drill with the various fire departments in competition.
E . R . STAMP CLUB The East Rockaway Stamp
Club announces that on June 20th, at 8 p.m., Mr. Vernon Brenner will show and talk on Kennedy Memorial Stamps, at its meeting room in the Senior Citizens House, 6 James St., East Rockaway.
The club meets the first and third Mondays of each month. All junior and adult collectors are invited to attend.

Attention all residents of the Village of East Rockaway and the East Rockaway School District. If you are at least 15 years of age, are interested in meeting other residents who want to attain better physical condition through walking or jogging, why don't you join the East Rockawyay Recreation Jog-gers Club. Sponsored by the East Rockaway Recreation Commis-sion, we have experienced in-structors in walking and jogging techniques to assist you. There will be group walks, jogs and meetings, and awards for various levels of accomplishment. Regis-tration fee is $7.50 per person.
