Rev Rick Lewers
Rick Lewers grew up in Cronulla in Sydney. He is 53 years old, has been married to Janene 30 years and they have three children. Since beginning his working life in the Commonwealth Bank, Rick has studied at SMBC and Moore College and now serves as a minister in the Anglican Church. His ministry included working as an Evangelist for Evangelism Ministries. He currently serves as the minister in charge of Engadine Heathcote Anglican church in the southern suburbs of Sydney. Rick is a keen fisherman and golfer who loves all sports (especially soccer) but claims he is not very good at any of them. He has served as a sports chaplain for the Canberra Cosmos in the NSL and in 2002 was the chaplain to the ACT Brumbies in Super 12’s Rugby. He is a one eyed South Sydney Rabbits fan longing for the glory days to return. His greatest passion is Jesus and he always wishes he was more disciplined in reading God’s word and praying. He loves to introduce people to the love of Jesus and to help people become followers and go on following Christ.
John AndersonJohn needs little introduction to men from the New England North West. John Anderson is married to Julia and is a committed Christian and was former Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the Federal National Party. John loves our Lord and his talks are always challenging and encouraging.
