PhotodesignDescription: Magazine layout with a color scheme
Date:02/08/15
Course / Instructor: Comm 130 (Visual Media)
Cory Kerr
Program(s) / Tools: Photoshop
Objectives:Demonstrate skills using photoshop / Color Schemes
Process: I decided on a complementary color scheme, one that would accent the subjects necklace. I removed the subject from the original background, sharpened the image, did some basic touch-ups on the skin, and ended up recoloring the necklace to better fit with my color scheme. This was all done in Adobe Photshop. I took the picture with my Olympus Digital.

Objectives: Implement all designer skills into a brochure
Process: I created the brochure using InDesign. The pictures that I used are all of mine. I used a monochromatic color scheme with Indigo to accent the front cover and the other pictures. I wrapped text and catered it to appeal with the color scheme. It was printed on photo paper and folded. It is an offset brochure.

C apt u re T h e Mo m e nt !In the words of Macdonald Carey, Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives. What he said is inevitable. As precious as our life is, it will come and it will go in the blink of an eye.
That is why I am an avid believer of capturing the many moments of our everyday lives through digital photography and digital imaging.
Think of all the amazing old family photos you have laying around at home. If no one ever took those pictures you would not have had those amazing memories to look back on.
C apture My Vi s ion! I have been taking pictures since I was just a young kid. My father was a landscape photographer and I spent a lot of my childhood watching him take photographs. We would go on many family outings and take pictures. In my junior year of college I began taking portraits of my friends with my Nikon. My small hobby soon turned into a great passion.
Today I take great pride in my work. I specialize in portrait photography and take a lot of time and effort into all of the work that I create.
I am accommodating and always reasonable !
