Buenas noches, tengan todos una calurosabienvenida. Esta es una ocasin muy importante, alreunirnos para preparar de la mejor manera posible

el ao escolar de sus hijos e hijas. El objetivo deesta noche es ayudarles a ustedes a proveer cuantaayuda y apoyo les esa posible para comprender lasdemandas del Programa del BI que su hijo e hija

estarn siguiendo. Es un programa academicodemandante pero es gratificante y les ayudar asus hijos e hijas a desarrollar habilidades claves alprepararse para la Universidad.

Hay algunos aspectos generales sobre los que deseohablarles antes de darle la palabra al Sr. Quijano y alSr. Starr. El primer aspecto es la puntualidad. La

puntualidad es un atributo importante. Es de malaeducacin llegar tarde a una reunin o a un eventodonde esperan su presencia y de esta maneranosotros vemos la llegada de su hijo e hija a la

escuela. Necesitamos que ellos esten en el aula de suTutor a las 7:00 am cada maana para que estenpreparados para el dia que inicia. Hemos revisado losdatos del ao pasado y hemos observado que

algunos estudiantes se han vuelto impuntuales y noestamos preparados para tolerar esto. Si su hijo ohija llega tarde en ms de tres ocaciones les

contactaremos a ustedes los padres para solicitar suayuda asegurndose que mejore la puntualidad.Llegadas tardes persistentes significar suspensinde la escuela hasta que nos aseguremos que su

puntualidad mejorar. Estamos determinados a hacerde este aspecto algo de gran importancia con elpropsito de lograr una mejora significativa es estarea.

El segundo aspecto es el uniforme. Nuestrosestudiantes de 11vo y 12vo grado son los modelos aseguir para el resto de la escuela. Los estudiantes ms

jvenes les miran miran como modelos y esperamosque ellos provean el ejemplo correcto y liderazgo. Estosignifica que deberan vestir suuniforme correctamentey con orgullo. Las nias no deben usar calcetines

cortos. El largo de las faldas no ms de 2 pulgadasarriba de la rodilla. Los varones con el botn de arribaabotonado y su corte de cabello alrededor de lasorejas y arriba del cuello de la camisa. Algunas veces

nuestros alumnos son juzgados de manera colectiva yjuzgan sus modales y su apariencia y nosotrosesperamos que estos sean perfectos en todo

momento. Es parte de ser un estudiante de la ABC.En 11vo y 12vo grado nuestros estudiantes todavareciben Planners y esperamos que los utilicen. Estosignifica que ustedes tambin necesitan revisarlos y

firmarlos. La independencia es importante y nuestrosestudiantes del BI deberan ser independientes aunquequeremos saber que ustedes estn ayudando en casaa monitorear sutrabajo. Por favor revselos y firmelos

Estoy muy complacido con el inicio del nuevo aoescolar y espero todo lo que este ao traer. Pude

sentir emocin entre los estudiantes el juevesanterior y nos queremos asegurar que este interes yentusiasmo se mantenga durante todo el ao.Habrn momentos de decepciones ascomo de
