Munich is one of Germany's most attractive cities. The dynamic business metropolis, which is home to numerous major companies, has a charm all its own. It is a unique blend of the traditional and the contemporary. Experience Munich's typical joie de vivre for yourself during your time at the trade fair: in elegant restaurants or quaint beer gardens, in the historic section of town with its magnificent sights or in the quiet green landscape of the Englischer Garten, one of the world's largest urban parks, or the Olympic Park. Take advantage of your stay and visit the world's largest fair – the original Oktoberfest, which will be held from 19 September to 4 October 2015 in Munich.

■ From the fairgrounds to the city centre in just 20 minutes on the underground train.
