If we already have some of these things, most likely we know they don’t bring us true happiness. Fact is, they probably bring us more aggravation—items to return or repair, one more object for people to argue over. Today’s scriptures point us toward the things that bring us true joy. Catechist information: Are you an active Catholic adult who feels called to share their faith with others? Our parish needs you! Please call Carmen at the parish office to share where your gifts may be of help to our faith formation process. We are always in need of male and female Catholic sponsors and catechists for Adult confirmation, RCIA, and faith formation classes. Dare to be transformed in your faith-join our parish cate-chetical team! Call Carmen 885-7861 or [email protected] for more information. Catechist Certification: For more information on Catechist Certification and mod-ules offered please see the Diocesan website: www.dosp.org or contact Carmen at the parish office for more info. Reminder: Faith Formation Parents on Sunday mornings Thank you for walking your children each Sunday to their classrooms. We appreciate that you feel our environment as one that is safe; however, it is in the best interest of your child(ren) for you to safely drop and collect them in their classroom each week. RCIA-Inquiry Sessions If you are an adult who is interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, please join us for informal gatherings where we invite questions and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. Please join us every Monday night from 7:30-9pm in the parish conference room. No need to call first, just come and see! RCIA-Catechumenate Process The rite of Christian initiation is a process for adults who “freely and consciously seek the living God and enter the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts.” Many of us experienced the Rite of Acceptance in

November at Mass, where 49 individuals came before our community asking for prayers and support from us. As we continue to meet each Sunday, those who are in the RCIA process continue to ask for your prayers. We thank all those sponsors who have committed to establishing a rela-tionship with each of these individuals and will continue to share their faith with them. Remember, we are all a part of this process…..it is our responsibility as baptized Catholics to assist those who seek to be one with us. If you feel called to be a part of the RCIA ministry as a Catholic spon-sor, please contact Carmen at the parish office.
