ICELAND’S MAGICAL NORTHERN LIGHTS 7 DAYS — NOV 24 & DEC 8, 2018 Day 1 Boston, Massachusetts: Depart Logan International Airport on your included overnight flight to Reykjavik. Day 2 Reykjavik, Iceland: Upon arrival, meet your AAA Travel Escort, then get acquainted with old town Reykjavik on a walking tour featuring Hallgrimskirkja church, city hall, the harbor and Kraum Icelandic design center. In the evening, dine at a popular restaurant featuring Icelandic cuisine before taking an exhilarating northern lights cruise on Faxafloi Bay in search of the aurora borealis. Day 3 Golden Circle/Seljalandsfoss Waterfall/ Vik: Travel the incredible Golden Circle, a route that encompasses many of Iceland’s most renowned natural wonders. Journey to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Icelanders gathered in A.D. 930 and established one of the world’s first parliaments. Day 5 Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon/Skaftafell: Explore the glacial lagoon at Jokulsarlon, filled with floating icebergs, then travel to Skaftafell and Vatnajokull National Park, home to Iceland’s highest mountains and Europe’s largest glacier. Day 6 Blue Lagoon/Reykjavik: Experience the Reykjanes Peninsula, known for its rugged landscape, lava fields, numerous hot springs, and home of the Blue Lagoon.
