3.2. Energy Star Solid State Lighting (SSL) Luminaries

    4. Definitions

    4.1. N/A

    5. Equipments / Materials

    5.1. Labsphere spectrophotometer, model TOCS20.

5.2. Standard lamp for system calibration, SCL-600.

5.3. LED test fixture, to accurately position the LED panel for measurement.

5.4. Relay multiplexer, to supply LED power via a LabView program.

    6. General Requirements

6.1 LEDs are to be tested at room temperature.

    7. Test Conditions

7.1. All test will be done at room temperature.

8.5. Toggle Source Mode to Current8.6. Set Volts, Amps according to the LED specification.8.7. Set Soak Time (ms), and Integration Time (ms) to the test

specification.8.8. Set "Volts" a few volts higher than the LED forward voltage specification.8.9. Set "Amps" to the exact same current level of the LED specification.8.10. Set "Soak Time (ms)" to 10ms if not specified from the customers.8.11. Set "Integration Time (ms)" to the customer requirement. If no

requirement is given, set the initial value to 10ms, proceed with the test.8.12. Turn on the crossed hair laser which has been adjusted to aim the laser

beam at the center of the integrating sphere aperture. If adjustment isneeded, call an engineer or qualified technician to perform theadjustments.
