ICMS Print solution

Printing in ICMS can be done in 2 ways:

1. College computers - Located in CSA (Colour and Black printers), CR12, CR13, outside CR13, Library (Colour

and Black printers).

2. Wifi printing - Your own mobile device, such as laptop, tablet or mobile phone.

Using the college computers

Printing from your ICMS computer can be done by sending your print jobs to a printer named ICMS Monitor

You will no longer see any pop-up windows indicating the cost of your print – this information is available from

your print account. Access your print account from the website (WIFI printing in the next section).

Wifi printing –

Wifi printing is limited from secure websites (https). You will NOT be able to print from websites that require a

login, such as Gmail and banking sites, etc.

Wifi printing can be achieved in 3 ways: File Print, Web Print and Send Email Attachment

1. File Print - From your web browser navigate to the following website http://printing.icms.edu.au/WebPrint/

A. Login using your ICMS credentials

B. After successful login, you will need to select the file you want to print. Use the Select files… button and

browse to the file you want to print. Alternatively you can drag and drop jobs to print in the field

provided.

C. Click Changes Job Attributes to select the printing options – Colour, 2 side printing, etc

D. The Current Activity window displays the current print job and provides you with the print job

information such as document name, number of pages and cost.

E. Go to any printer and collect your print job from that printer within 24 hours.

2. Web Print – As in point 1 A above, logon to the print web page.

A. Select the Web Print tab.

B. In the URL field, type the URL of the web page you wish to print.

C. Select the printing options – Colour, 2 side printing, etc

D. Click the Submit button.

E. If the URL was successfully registered in the print system, a confirmation message will be shown under

the URL field.

F. Click to select the print job at the Current Activity window. Note that the Status of the print job is

Waiting for release.

At this point you can go to any printer and collect your print job from that printer within 24 hours.

3. Send Email Attachment - As in point 1 A above, logon to the print web page.

A. Click on the Send Email attachment tab.

B. Register your icms email address by clicking on the Select button and enter your email address.

Optional: You can choose to set a security key by clicking Security key. You will be presented with the dialogue box

below. Enter a word or code to identify emails sent from you and intended for printing.

C. From your email program, send an email to icmsprinter@students.icms.edu.au any attachment in the

email will be printed. If there are no attachments the email body itself will be printed.

Collecting your print jobs

You can collect your print jobs in 2 ways:

Swiping your ICMS ID card over the printer terminal or by entering your print code number into the terminal.

Sliding your card through the slot will not register.

Once you have swiped or entered your code the terminal will ask what you want to do. Your options are

1 = Copy

By choosing 1 you are able to make copies from the printer.

2 = Print

By choosing 2 all your print jobs will be printed on the printer.
