Roger K. Allen PH.D.

Head of Organizational Design Practice

Co-Founder and Senior Consultant The Center for Organizational Design

Roger K. Allen, Ph.D., author, consultant, coach, teacher, is a respected expert in leadership,

communication, team development, and personal and organizational change. Roger and Preston Pond

founded the Center for Organizational Design in 1992 in order to help businesses create high

performance/high commitment organizations. Some of Roger’s past and current clients include AT&T

Capital, Ashland Chemical, Burson Marstellar, Coach Leatherware, The Corporation for Public Broadcasting

(several radio stations), Denver Museum of Nature and Science, DSM Dyneema, Honeywell, Kaman Industrial

Technologies, KeyTronic, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Proctor & Gamble, The US Forest Service, Qwest, and many

others. Examples of a few recent consulting projects include redesign of a $1 B distribution company from 200

branch offices to around 20 customer support centers; redesign of a plant that manufactures high

performance textiles to double production capacity; assessment and redesign of several public radio

stations; successful trust building with alienated board of trustees; chartering and improving performance of

several executive teams.

Roger is a prolific innovator of training and organizational development methodologies and products. He has

written numerous publications, workbooks and leaders’ guides on the topics of leadership, personal

effectiveness, high performance teams, strategic planning, organizational assessment and design, and

interpersonal dialogue. Roger and Preston Pond have certified over 800 independent consultants nationwide

to use their consulting and development products.

Roger intervenes at the personal, team and organizational levels to create high performing companies.

Using his engaging style, he has also delivered hundreds of workshops, retreats and seminars around the

country which have been acclaimed as among the most powerful learning experiences available

anywhere.

Chip Wilson

Head of Training Practice Founder and CEO of 360 Solutions

Chip Wilson is a visionary who has an overwhelming passion for helping others develop their entrepreneurial spirit. With extensive knowledge of the training and development industry, Chip regularly has the opportunity to share his skills and successes with others.

After college, Chip began his business career under the umbrella of a Fortune 500 company. Unfortunately for them, Chip wanted the challenge of an entrepreneurial lifestyle. So, at the age of 26, he started his first training and consulting business in his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa. After two successful years, Chip sold that company for a substantial profit. He then became the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a consulting company in

Waco, Texas where he was responsible for over 700 accounts nationwide. In his time there, Chip contributed greatly to the company’s bottom line, but desired a career that was more personally and professionally rewarding.

Dr. Osama Al-Ali

Partner, Head of Strategy and Leadership Practice

•Dr. Osama Al-Ali was in at the beginning of the IT revolution before it was even known by that name. His early working life in the 1980’s was spent as a Business Systems Analyst and Head of Technology

before embracing academia as Assistant Professor of Applied Sciences at Arabian Gulf University in his

native Bahrain.

•In the mid 90’s he took his expertise – in computer applications and information systems – into the

world of banking as Vice President and Gulf Business Technology Head of Citibank. The internet explosion at the turn of the millennium further increased demand for Dr. Al-Ali’s specialist knowledge of

banking software and Intranet solutions. Since then he has provided a wide range of consultancy

services to Governments, Corporations and Institutions, offering expert advice on Executive

Management, Corporate Strategy & Performance, Business Development, Airports and Project

Management and IT services.

•Dr. Al-Ali serves as a business adviser and coach to many businesses and CEOs across the Gulf region,

and in addition trains on executive leadership, systems dynamics, and innovation using TRIZ. 15

•Dr. Al-Ali earned his Bachelor and Masters of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from the

University of Michigan. He earned his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Post Doctorate in Systems

Dynamics and Human Cognition from the Media Lab. He also completed the Executive Program at

the IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

• Salma Sakhnini graduated with an MBA from Yale University and a BA from the American University of

Beirut (AUB) and holds the Master Franchise for 360 Solutions - the leading training company globally- for

the GCC region, and is a Certified Executive Coach from the International Coach Federation (ICF) and

Center for Executive Coaching.

• Salma founded and manages her own group of companies that include an industrial manufacturing

business, a consulting practice, and a training and coaching firm. She previously held a number of senior

leadership positions including, working as Vice President with Citibank and as Chief Operating Officer

with Rasmala Investments.

• She is renowned for being "The Strategist for Success". Salma has advised, coached, and mentored

seasoned leaders in Strategy, Success and Business Growth. She helps her clients transform their

businesses and lives, and turn their potential into prosperity.

• Having transformed the performance in businesses she ran and in her own companies by implementing

strategies that increased sales, streamlined and aligned the business, and boosted profitability, Salma

became an expert on transforming potential into high performance. • Salma’s passion for making a difference in people’s lives has led her since the age of seventeen to always

play an active role in the community through working on issues closest to her heart, education,

empowerment, women, and youth. In striving to heighten awareness and make an impact, she works

closely with different constituents of the community on issues of development while actively working with

and coaching reform and strategy teams.

• She is a strong believer in nurturing the partnership between the community and the private and public

sectors and in the role business must play in giving back to the community. She has also lectured at the

American University of Dubai and held executive workshops on many topics.

• She is a mentor and a model of success and continues to be an active speaker at various regional and

international conferences.
