Creating an iGoogle account

• iGoogle is a personalised search page with ‘gadgets’ for work, home and play
• Access your Gmail, Google Reader and RSS feeds, twitter, news feeds, horoscope, quote of the day, recipes, calendar, etc.
• Choose a theme for your page(s) or create your own
Sign in
• Use a Gmail account for access via any computer
• Other email accounts only allow access on the computer you are using
• Untick the box if you DO NOT want Google to be your default homepage
• Accept to create an account
Enter Gmail or other email and password

• Follow the ‘setup wizard’ to create your iGoogle page
• Select from the listed ‘interests’ and ‘themes’
• Then ‘See your page’

• Personalise your page
• Choose from a range of themes from the gallery or use the search box
• Selections include ‘Theme of the day’, flowers, sports, pop stars, colours, shapes, animation, and much, much, more
Change Theme and Add Stuff

• ‘Add stuff’ and gadgets
• Choose from the categories on the left of screen or use the search box
• Add Google Reader, Gmail, daily horocopes, satellite tracking tools, jokes, quotes, games, notepads, calendar, clock, etc.
• ‘Add RSS feeds’ by typing in the URL or website

• ‘Add a tab’ to create separate pages for work, home and play
• Personalise each page
• Add gadgets and RSS feeds for each page
Click here to ‘add a tab’New page/tab name
• Delete gadgets by clicking on ‘drop arrow’
• Move gadgets by clicking on title bars
• Check your iGoogle account and change settings
• Make each page different
