Ideas Poster Images: A happy family to make the public feel warm hearted – It could be an actual family or a volunteer with the teenager they are helping. This could help more people want to become volunteers. A lonely teenager out of the street sleeping in the rain with no protection. A teenager stood under a lamppost. The light making them look holy. Like the lamp is a halo. Copy: Keep it very basic. Don’t include too much or it will bore the public. Bold, big text will attract attention and emphasis the statement. Colour: I will have to include green as it is SASH’s colour scheme. As for the images they will be dark or bright depending on the mood they are meant to portray. Website Images: Use happy images to show the happiness the charity can bring to people. Also if people are happy they also feel safe so this could help to send the message that this charity is safe which will welcome more people to be apart of it. Copy: It needs to tell loads of information but in a simple way. It can’t bombard the audience with loads of information at once or it wouldn’t enter their brain properly. Colour: Try to use the same colours as the poster so you can tell they link together. Try to use more colours than just green as that can be boring after a while and you need to keep the audience interested. Stickers Use the statement from the poster or a new one if the poster doesn’t have one. Using a bold black and white contrast will make the sticker visible and readable. Some of the stickers can just have the name of the charity on or the website. Letting people know who they are and making people curious about SASH and find out who the charity is. Billboards and Bus Advertisements A larger version of the poster but with more information as they is more room for it. It will be the small print at the bottom of the ad but big enough for people to read. Audience: Teenagers – Happy and hip adverts that make them want to go there if they are ever in trouble. Adults – More serious so they know the reality of the situation and want to help out.
