(abandoned his mother before he was born). Mother was Karla Abrahamsen. At three years old, mother married Dr. Theodor Homberger.

Peter Blos encouraged him to apply at a teaching position at an experimental psychological school (Dorothy Burlinham)

Got a certificate in Montessori education and one from the Verenna Psychoanalytical Society.

Traveled around Europe, basically wondering around museums. He was one of the original care-free rebels

Because he was a developmental psychologist he dealt with how minds work and develop.
