Office News... Just a reminder of some of our organisation:- When notes are sent home for excursions or visiting performances, students must bring in an envelope each, please do not put multiple children on one envelope. The actual amount enclosed needs to be written on the front, if change is required it will be distributed after the event as we are unable to keep change. The student’s class should be written in the space provided. Classes are as follows: K Koala (KK) – Mrs LaCoste K Possum (KP) – Mrs Jarvis 1/2 Echidna (1/2E) – Mss Johnson 1/2 Bilby (1/2B) – Mr Taylor 3/4 Platypus (3/4P) – Miss Connie 3/4 Quokka (3/4Q) – Mr Marzinotto 5/6 Dingo (5/6D) – Mrs Bartlett 5/6 Emu (5/6E) – Mrs Timmins
Notes have a deadline date on them and this will be adhered to. The deadline is in place to enable staff to make bus bookings and internal arrangements – due to our office change over to the Department run SAP & SALM System payments on the day of an event make this impossible to handle. If you want your child to attend but payment is a concern, please contact the office so that arrangements can be made as we do not want your child to miss out.
Payments for school things can be paid for using your credit card using the Make a Payment button on the school website, there is a space to tick on our payment envelopes if you choose to pay this way. Please do not pay for canteen or uniform this way as they are P&C run and they have their own separate bank account. Payment/permission envelopes are posted into the slot in the wall outside the office. All school payments can be deposited here. If you change your child’s pick up arrangements please ring the school by 2.15pm so the note can be taken to the classroom. We cannot guarantee message delivery for messages received after this time.
Absence notes go to the class teacher, if you use email or the Skoolbag app to explain absences we deal with
those and the teacher is advised. Later this term we will be using a text message system, there will be
notification in the newsletter when this happens.
P & C News… Our P&C AGM will be held next Monday February 17 at 3pm in the staffroom. Free child minding will be available in the library. Everyone is welcome and we would love to see some new faces. Kerrie
