Monochromatic Color

A monochromatic color scheme comes from a single base hue With different variations of shades, tints, and tones.

   

Color  Analogous

An analogous color scheme is when you use colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel. One of the colors must be a primary color while the other two on either side are

secondary.

Color  Direct Complimentary

Colors directly opposite each other on the color wheel. The colors enhance each other when used together.

Color  Triad Complementary

Three hues equally positioned on a color wheel and creates a colorful, yet balanced effect in a room.

Color  Double Complementary

Double Complements are four hues on the 12 hue color wheel that are

made up of 2 adjacent complementary pair.

Color  Tetrad Complementary

any four colors which are equidistant on the color wheel

Color  Split Complementary

uses a color and the two colors adjacent to its complementary. This provides high contrast without the strong tension of the complementary scheme.

Color  Alternative Complementary

An alternate scheme uses a color, its complement and the complement's two adjacent colors. This allows the high contrast of the

complementary scheme to be toned down when required.
