Some people believe that only pupils of similar interests should be given
admissions in schools. Others are of the opinions that schools should be
open to all children with varied interests. How far you agree or disagree
with the above views.
Students take admission in a school to acquire skills and knowledge. School acts asa resource house for providing education and information to the children. Every
person in this world has a different way of thinking and perceiving the world.
Similar is the case in the schools where people of varied interests are inducted in to
different courses.
Some people believe that schools should only give admission to the students with
similar interest, but I think otherwise. I contemplate that it is incessant for the
schools to provide admission to students with varied interest. This will help students
become versatile and it will make them well aware of all the fields of the world.
There are people who normally associate cooking and fashion designing to girls and
economics to boys, but this is not the case. Students eventually realize that their
preferences change over the years and it would be in their best interest to keep
their options open.
Giving admission to the students can also have some benefits for the students. For
instance the students would be able to concentrate on the specific subject which he
or she wants to pursue in his later life. As the other students have the same course
preference it would be easier for the student to communicate and exchange vital
information. These students would be focusing on the same area which would easily
lead to synergy.
There are some people who stress on the idea that universities are following this
model and the same model should be adopted by the school, but according to
opinion it is not practical. Schools are the place where the student spend the initial
years of his or her life and he or she does not know what degree or profession to
pursue. In this case it would be rather unjustified to deprive the students of getting
knowledge of all the subjects.

Some authors believe that urbanisation is a Modern Disease. In not less
than 250 words explain if you agree with this view and give your own
opinion.
Urbanization is the process by which people living in the rural areas shift to the
urban areas in order to find a better life. Since medieval times people have beenmigrating to the places where resources are in abundance. This process is being
witnessed all over the world, and many consider it to be bad thing. Some even
regard urbanization to be a Modern Disease. Before embarking in to any
conclusion I would like to see both the aspects of the topic.
The shift or movement to the city creates many opportunities for the people. It is
very easy to find jobs in the city area and people can even operate as small
businessmen. I would like to talk about my own city. Many multinational companies
have been opening their offices in the city which has resulted in better job
opportunities for all the people. People move to the urban areas in an effort to
acquire better education and healthcare for themselves.
There are also some problems which were created by the process of urbanization.
As people move towards the city it gets harder for some people to find the high-
paying job which they deserve. People who come from the rural areas are
desperate to find a job, so they agree to work at a low salary which deprives the
professional people from getting a job. It is very hard to provide housing to the
people who are coming from the rural areas. When people gather in a concentrated
area the developers have to build apartment building which triggers the traffic
problem.
It is the sole responsibility of the people in the rural areas to do the farming, and
when they migrate to the metros it creates food problem in the entire country.
Many countries have been encountered by this dilemma. When these people move
to the urban areas to find job in the service industry it cripples the agricultural
industry of the country.
I think that it would be a better decision for people in the rural areas to live in their
areas but I think the government should make an effort of providing better schools
and hospitals in the rural areas.

Capital punishment is a brutal decision and should be abolished. Give your
views in not less than 250 words if you agree or disagree with it.
Capital punishment is a punishment in which the criminal is charged or indicted for
a severe crime. Capital punishment is also referred to as the death sentence which
implies that the person guilty of committing this offence is to face death sentence.
There are many countries in the world which have abolished this sentence, but
there are still some countries which are practicing this procedure. Death penalty is
awarded to the people who have killed another person.
It may be easier for an ignorant person to say that this punishment is justified, but
I being a well informed student of law would strongly condemn this punishment.
The law system is a very complexed one. There have been many instances where
innocent have been accused of guilt and they have lost their life. Evidence can be
easily tampered and it may easily be changed in favor of the person who has theresources.
Instead of killing the accused offender the murderer may be sent to a jail. Jail is a
place where the murderer is punished for his or her crime and he has to live a very
bad life. One day ay jail is tantamount to living in a hell.
Taking another persons life is a very big crime both legally and religiously. No one
in this world has the right to take another persons life. No matter what the
situation is, no one should have the authority to do this thing because it takes
another persons life and life is granted only once. It devastates the life of the
family member of the dead person and it ruins his friends. No matter what the
other person has done no one should be allowed to take the retribution for other
persons acts. Life is not planned and people tend to do things which they have not
planned. I have seen very good people making grave mistakes. This notion forces
me to corroborate the lifting of this sentence.
Given the complexities of the law system I feel that the real criminals contrive ways
to save themselves from the punishment. This has led me to come of the opinion
that this sentence should be abolished.

Working and living abroad helps us to know other cultures well. How far
you think working abroad has good or bad impacts on our cultural lives?
Culture consists of the ideas and beliefs which define or personality and guide us to
live the life which we are living. Increasing number of people are opting to live orwork in a foreign country. The reason might be some work urgency or simply a
personal preference which might lead to the decision. We are persistently being
affected by changes and we have to encounter many problems while dealing with
people of other cultures. When a person lives or works abroad he not only has to
see some differences in the outside world but also some in him or herself.
Every person in this world has his or her own culture. Culture encompasses our
entire life and we cannot be emancipated from the teachings of the culture which
were ingrained into our minds by our parents. Some people contemplate that the
different conflicting cultures may have adverse affects while others are adamant on
the issue that there might my some fruitful affects.
When a person enters the global market, the global market entails him to make
certain decisions which might be unethical or illegal for that person. Some Muslim
women might regard it highly offensive if they were to asked to enter their work
place without a scarf. Similarly in most of the Asian countries it is regarded
extremely offensive to shake hands with a woman while people in the European
countries find it perfectly fine to do this particular activity.
There are also some benefits which might be taken if an individual accustoms
himself to the culture. The familiarization and appreciation of a different culturemight also have some benefits. Working in a foreign country will promote tolerance
and respect for the other culture. There is equal respect given to both men and
women working in company in America; however, a similar kind of behavior might
not be expected in a company in Pakistan or India.

If you were given to change, what all changes you would implement in this
21st century to make our world a better living place? Discuss few changes
in not less than 250 words.
Change is inevitable and it is imperative for everyone. Our world and the way we
live in it has changed dramatically over the years. We are living in a world whichhas limited resources and unlimited wants, we are living in a world where everyone
seeks to achieve perpetual happiness but each person fails repeatedly. This means
that we are living in an imperfect world which entails specific changes. I think if I
were given chance I would make some drastic reforms in the educational, medical
and social sector of the world.
There are more than 120 countries in the world and if we analyze them we would
be able to contemplate that the rich countries are the countries which have a good
and strong education system. I would definitely have a more pragmatic approach
towards solving the problem. A common system should be implemented in the
entire world so that people moving from one place to another should not have
problem in getting a job and the people should be adaptable to the changing world.
One thing clearly visible about the school system in the developing countries is that
they are teaching the theories and methodologies which are not applicable in the
real world.
Some social reforms are also mandatory. We as human beings do not know
whether to follow our religious preaching or the teaching of the todays world. There
are some people who are massacring other people for the sake of religion while
others are showing race discrimination based on their cultural values. Basically we
can say that we are in a dilemma. We are incessantly faced with the problem of
what to do and how to do it. The only solution to this problem is tolerance and
forbearance. We should try to acknowledge the fact that every person in the world
has a right to practice his or her own ideas as long as they do not hurt other
people.
Millions of people in Africa and Asia have entered the crime world because they
were oppressed by their heartless leaders or by their ill-fortune. The world would be
a much more peaceful place if these people were provided with the basic
necessities of life. Free health facility is something which I would I like to initiate in
this world. Healthy food and pure water should also be provided without anycomplexity.

Should poor countries continue to receive International Aids? Give your
views in not less than 250 words.
Poor countries are the countries which are deprived of the basic necessities of life
and they do not have ample resources to trigger economic growth while the rich
countries have abundant resources to prosper both economically and socially. Some
people tend to believe that reliance on the foreign aid is fundamental for success
while others believe that this munificence will make the people of the country
lethargic and less willing to work with vigor and zest.
I personally believe that poor countries are often ruled by brutal leaders and
leaving them in the hands of the cruel leaders will eventually make their lives
intolerable and unbearable. If I take the example of my own country it has
sufficient resources, but people are still not provided with the things they require so
they have to take the aid from the foreign countries like America.
International aid helps the country build its structure. Some countries are endowed
with resources and the ability to use them while other only combat their ill-fortune.
Developed countries can easily help other people for the noble cause of humanity
and that can easily be done if they cut their extravagant expenses. This money
could be used to improve the education system which would consequently make the
people adept at doing different things. This money could be made to improve the
health situation so that people do not die of minor diseases. This money could be
used to lessen domestic violence and as a result of this the killing in retaliation
could also be prevented.
The problems which poverty can generate are of great magnitude. They are often
ignored, but if we analyze thoroughly we will easily be able come to the conclusion
that poverty initiates all kinds of crime. Rich countries have grave concern
regarding the terrorism prevailing in the current era, and this terrorism is
stimulated by unemployment and poverty. Countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan
are accused of being terrorist states as the people living there are still striving to
live a normal life with their families. If the international community actually makes
their standard of living better, I do not think their life would be in jeopardy. I am
adamant on the issue that international aid plays an indispensable role in thegrowth of a developing country.

The modern technology is all making things easily available. Internet has
provided us the easy downloadable versions of most books we need. Can
internet world replace the world of books and words? Give your own views
in not less than 250 words.
Most people are discontinuing the contemporary practices of attaining education,
and they are keener towards acquiring knowledge by the use of technological
innovations. Books have acted as a true asset in imparting knowledge, but now the
reliance on internet sources is also considered important. Different people have
different notions but I think that that internet has more importance in todays world
but it will not be able to replace the books completely.
Almost everything is available on the internet, be it newspapers, journals, comics,
books or articles. The unique feature of the information on the internet is that it is
free and readily available for everyone. A person sitting on the internet does not
have any monetary or time limitations. The information can be viewed again and
again and it always remains over there. Multiple jobs and busy schedules are even
forcing people to forgo school education in favor of online education.
Some people believe that books can never be completely replaced by internet
because even in such an era of scientific development and technological acumen
people still tend to read from the books. Colleges and universities may offer the
course on the internet, but people prefer to use the books in the school or college.
Some people even consider that the information provided on the internet is not
reliable and is generated from undependable sources. The authenticity of the
information cannot be verified so it is seen skeptically.
Another debatable issue in the online world is the issue of copyright infringement.
Everyone likes to get free stuff but someone is paying for that stuff. We often
ignore the source of the information but the truth is that someone is suffering
because of the downloadable versions and this information will cease to exist once
proper laws are executed for the online theft. That is why it would be better to use
the books which mostly do not indulge in any plagiarism.
Both internet and books are important and if they both are used collectively they
would be able to produce greater and better results for an individual ororganization, but I think that internet would not be never be able to replace books
in the field of education or any other field.

Children are the impressions of their parents behaviour. If a child behaves
badly his parents should be considered responsible and should be
punished. How far do you agree with this.
Parents give birth to children and take care of their children from adolescence tomaturity. Sometimes children behave in a way which is considered unacceptable
and deplorable by both their parents and the society. There are times when even
the parents fail to fathom their behavior. Most people are of the view that as
parents have the sole responsibility of the upbringing of their children, they should
be the ones castigated for their erroneous behavior.
The first thing which we have to consider is that children are not mature and they
mostly act the way they are taught to act. There is colossal evidence which shows
that internal fights between husbands and wives are one of the primary reason for
the frustration and aggravation in children. When parents use abusive language in
front of their children it mostly impels the children to adopt that way of conduct.
There are no parents who would ever instigate their children to act in the illicit way.
All parents strive to ingrain good skills in their children but they still behave in the
wrong way. Parents are not the only ones who have an impact on children, there
are innumerable factors which compel the children to behave in the way they do.
Schools also play a vital role in the way student behave. Most children learn how to
abuse or fight in the schools.
There is no law in the world which would advocate the punishing of one person forthe actions of another. If you think consciously you will comprehend that the flawed
behavior of the children is in essence an actual punishment for their children.
Parents have to face embarrassment and degradation in front of people.

Are famous people treated unfairly by the media ? Should they be given
more privacy, or is the price of their fame an invasion into their private
lives?
Famous people are the people who also regarded to be celebrated people. Media
consists of the network which imparts information to the general public. Mediaexercises different methods to exploit the lives of these famous people to generate
exciting stories. There is a vast division between people on this issue.
There are many laws which explicitly state that no one has the permission to
impede in the lives of other people. Privacy is not important but also important for
famous people. There are times when they are going to go through difficult times
as isolation is the only remedy for their agony but these journalists keep intruding
into their lives and disturb them further. Some media groups generate malicious
news to attract viewership. It is entirely on the discretion of media group to either
paint him as a hero or a complete mess.
Famous people give a sense of inspiration to the people. They have achieved high
success and if the world is made aware of their achievements the people would be
immensely motivated to work towards working meticulously. Some people provide
the argument that famous people are the ones who are striving to achieve publicity
and the moment they get it they desire privacy. Famous people are public property
so that is the reason people regard it has their right to know everything about it.

What do you think the government in your country should do to make your
country more successful?
Government is the institution which has the sole responsibility of taking care of the
affairs of a country. The government is facing a lot of problems and the problemsare having devastating effects on the lives of the citizens. Success is a very hard
word to define but we can simply say that success means the achievement or
accomplishment of certain goals which a person has set in his or her minds. I think
that government in my country should give exceptional focus on some sections like
education and business to achieve perpetual success.
The education system of Pakistan is deemed to be one of the feeblest education
system in the world with the no focus on learning and only memorizing the obsolete
terminologies and definitions. We should robustly endeavor to adopt new innovative
ways of spreading education. There is a huge economic disparity in my country
which leads 99% percent of the people to be deprived of good education while a
low 1% actually benefiting from the process.
One thing can be seen in all the thriving economies in the world, and it is that all
these countries are able to offer a good economic policy. World was stunned by the
financial success of Japan but they never tried to understand the work behind it.
Japanese worked with extreme fervor and that it is the thing which led to their
economic supremacy. The government promoted business activity and small
businesses were offered good policy.
I contemplate that people in my country have become lethargic and they try to findnew ways to deceive another person whereas they do not believe in hard work.
Citizens should be motivated to practice their businesses in the rightful way and
discipline should be ingrained in to every person.
I believe discipline coupled with good education would definitely make a country
prosperous and this is the only policy a country should adopt to take the first step
towards economic progression. The above mentioned will also eradicate all the
social evils from the region.

Life was simpler without so much of technology. Give your views in not
less than 250 words.
What is technology? In simple words I can say that technology is something without
which we cannot live our life comfortably. We have been inundated with machinesand our reliance on technology is at its peak. Technology has had overwhelming
affects on our personal and professionals lives. The main aim of technology was to
make things simpler but people tend to believe that technology has made our lives
even more complicated.
If you look in the professional lives of people, the dependence on technology is
immense. We have to use phones, computers, printers, and many other things to
operate in the business environment. Technology plays a significant role in
mitigating the costs of the businesses and doing the work in the timely manner.
Technology enables workers to be in constant correspondence with other people but
sometimes technology might also have some adverse effect as it blurs the
boundaries between work and home and workers do not know when to concentrate
on work and when to give time to family because they are flooded with calls from
home while they are working.
Technology has even facilitated us to remain in close contact with our loved ones.
Different websites and application are in use these days which allow people
communicate and correspondence.
If you look at the health situation the benefits of technology are apparent.
Technology has helped us help scale back the prevalence of many deadly diseases.I would even go to the point of saying that success in the medical field can be
attributed to technology because technology provided all the machines which are
used to diagnose and cure a disease.
I have seen that in order to make our life simpler we have to go through a difficult
way. These days phone and computer companies are making products which make
out tasks easier but it is difficult to operate them.

The 21st century has begun. What changes do you think this new century
will bring? Use examples and details in your answer.
Nothing in this world is immutable. As the twenty-first century unfolds we would
realize that it has brought drastic changes in our lives. I believe that change is
inevitable and it would be witnessed in all the different sectors in the prevailingworld. We will witness changes in the economic, social, health and legal sectors of
our society.
Some developing countries are striving to get in to the league of rich countries
while the previous thriving economies are beset by prolonged economic downturn.
Due to extravagant expenses and lethargic attitude towards work the workers in
the developed countries have reduced their productivity. I think that as we will
further move in to 21st century productivity would be the greatest concern for the
companies and countries. Money would not be spent to buy luxuries and even the
businesses will not employ their resources to produce luxury goods. Every penny
would count.
World will also witness unprecedented barbaric and cruel treatment by some
countries. We have already started to see the indications from the last century but
as the century progresses the situation would amplify and exacerbate further. I
would also go to the extent of saying that there would be a moral outrage. There
would be lack of unity amongst countries and they would be unable to form
consensus on the slightest issue. Alleviating inequality would just be a myth.
There might also be some good things which we might like to embrace in the new
century. I am very optimistic about technology and education. Technologicalprogression has become imperative for everyone and there might some
advancement in this sector. Knowledge has become a commodity and is
increasingly democratized and globalized. With the booming information websites
the knowledge has become a facility for everyone and the trend signifies that
information sharing will be on the escalating side.
Change often perturbs me because I think that change only brings more emptiness
and suspicion in our lives. Well my argument has been debunked persistently but I
am adamant on the issue that 21st century will bring some adverse affect on our
lives and in order to constraint the bad affects world leaders need to address theimpact and implication of these changes.

Some people say that advertising encourages us to buy things we really do
not need. Others say that advertisements tell us about new products that
may improve our lives. Which viewpoint do you agree with? Use specific
reasons and examples to support your answer.
Advertising is becoming an increasingly sophisticated topic. It is very difficult tocomprehend the main purpose of advertising. Countries are persistently
bombarding the people with massive ads which sometimes educate people
regarding the new products and sometimes reinforce the previously mentioned
message by accentuating the importance of the product.
Advertising makes people aware of the products and motivates them to buy it.
There has been a drastic shift in the buying patterns of people. People may oppose
these ads but the truth is that these ads are the sole factor which stimulates them
to buy the product. It would be wrong to say that products do not have any
benefits. Advertising just highlights the benefits which are already constituted in
the product. I was once keen to buy a laptop and a very gripping ad provoked me
to buy the product.
Another thing which deserves the attention of people is that these advertising
giants exercise different methods to transform a want into a need. They
manipulate the minds of the people to make them believe that they need the
product and need the thing. All the media giants are contending to incept in the
consumers mind that the product is mandatory for their life.
World is now started to have doubts about advertising. They have come to the
conclusion that this gigantic advertising is forcing people to buy things which theydo not need. Once a popular businessman said once you buy things you do not
need you will have to sell the things you do not need. This advertising has been the
fundamental cause for the economic turmoil and financial destruction. Some of the
people are suspicious ideology and anticipate an eventual downturn.

It is sometimes said that borrowing money from another country can harm
or damage the relations with the country. Do you agree? Why or why not?
A country has a very complicated relation with another. No matter how cordial their
relations are they can never completely rely on another country. The economic
turmoil of 2008 led many countries to implore for a loan by the richer countries andbig financial giants. The money was either needed to bailout the country, pay for
the extravagant expenses or to develop the infrastructure. Borrowing money should
be opposed at all levels and especially when it comes to getting loan from another
country.
There is no possible way a country could not harm the relations with another
country after borrowing money. Money is borrowed to ameliorate the conditions of
the people of borrowing country. The money might be able to improve the
conditions but the lending country will do a lot of intervention in the affairs of the
country. Borrowing would trigger distrust and disbelieve among the countries.
Governments generate money by taxing the citizens and it is the tax-payer who
pays the money with the supposition that the fund would be utilized in the country.
The tax-payer would be infuriated on finding that the money is going to be used to
solve the problems of another country. This would spread anger and distrust among
the citizens of the loan granting and a certain kind of superiority would be visible in
their behavior. Relations would be rattled and destroyed forever.
Some people even contend that helping another country in need would in fact
improve their relations; moreover, it would help strengthen relations and
collaborate in different ways. A country would always remember the generosity ofanother country and help improve the relations.

Deciding the size of ones own family is a personal preference In youropinion should government intervene in the rights of the individual withregard to family planning?
Family is a group of individuals who are socially and emotionally dependent on eachother. We can see that overpopulation has created many problems for not onlyfamilies but also for different governments. Many governments have taken theinitiative of introducing modern contraception and family-planning information whileother governments have decided not to implement their will on the people.
Some people believe that the parents should make the decision on how manychildren they want to have. I would like to take the example of my own countrywhere the parents have to bear the expenses of their children and the governmentdoes not make any kind of contribution in the upbringing of a child. Theintervention of my countrys government in this issue would be viewed with utterrage and distrust. If the family has the ability to pay for the childs expenses itshould also have the right to exercise the decision on whether to have it or not
have it. There are a lot of people who corroborate the notion that the parentsshould be empowered to make such a vital decision of their life.
It is the sole responsibility of the government to provide the basic necessities of lifeto its citizens. No matter how inefficient or unaware a government might be, it stillhas to employ resources to provide public goods. We simply cannot envisage theproblem which governments have been facing due to this incessant populationincrease. This escalating population fuels many other economic problems likeunemployment and inflation. Furthermore, a child who is deprived of basicnecessities will not only look at his or her parents with resentment but also thegovernment with antipathy.
Government is an organization which has the power and authority. Family planningwas perceived as a moral wrong and social evil in the early days but now all thepolitical parties and welfare organizations are trumpeting their support for familyplanning. I think that the government has every right to influence families ondeciding how many children to have.

Women are always better parents than men. How far you agree with this?Give your opinion in not less than 250 words.
There was a time when psychologists believed that the mother-child relation wasstronger than father-child relation but now these people think that both are equallyimportant. Parents play a very important role in the development of a child.According to a general opinion mothers outshine fathers, but now this notion is nolonger accepted.
Fathers in this era are playing an extremely active role in the upbringing of a child.According to a research depression and behavior problems are apparent in the childwho is deprived of fathers love and attention. Fathers have to satisfy the financialneeds of the child.
The role of women cannot be ignored or undermined. Children tend to share theirfeelings and ideas with their mothers in a more open manner. Mothers and childrenhave always had cordial relations. It was first considered that the men would be
provide for the financial needs, but after the financial crunch in the world women inboth first and third world countries have both played a more active role in theaccomplishment of the financial needs. It would not be wrong to state that womenare the primary caregiver and molder of children.
Most children believe that mother exercises authoritative parenting. Childrenbelieve that mothers do not have the candidness with the childrenThere are many people who espouse equally shared parenting so vociferously thatgo to the extent of saying that imbalance in the affection given by the parent wouldresult in confrontation and altercation amongst the family.
I think that women play a far more important role than men in the upbringing ofthe child. With the extremely controversial topic of parental acceptance andrejection across the globe some people are even questioning the interference ofparents, but no one gainsay the fact that mother have a very vital role in the life ofa child.

The threat of nuclear weapons maintains world peace. Nuclear powerprovides cheap and clean energy. The benefits of nuclear technology faroverweigh the disadvantages. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons foryour answer.
Nuclear weapons have always been perceived as a tool of mass destruction, butthere is another side to it. Nuclear weapons can be used to produce clean energy;moreover, nuclear weapons could even foster peace and relax tensions between thecountries. I think that nuclear weapons have managed to avoid wars andmaintained peace in the area. Peace dominates the political landscape of sub-continent; not despite the presence of nuclear weapons but because of it. Nuclearweapons can help country produce energy, but on the other hand it might alsotrigger confrontational environment.
Iran is one of countries which are claiming that it is using nuclear power to produceclean sustainable energy. The entire world is skeptical of Irans nuclear program,
but the fact is that because of the nuclear program Iran has been able to becomean economically strong country, in spite of all the sanctions levied on it.
Some people are of the notion that nuclear weapons would heighten suspicion andhostility between the countries but entirely the opposite is true for two nuclearpowers: Pakistan and India. Pakistan and India have fought 3 wars, but since thepossession of nuclear weapons by both countries, the relations have improved.Nuclear weapons have thus become deterrents of war rather than instigators ofwar. World wars witnesses unprecedented catastrophes which are initiated not bynuclear weapons but by the hideous minds of people.
There are some disadvantages of possessing nuclear weapons. Nuclear weaponsmay have not resulted in a war till now, but if a war abrupt nuclear weapons woulddo unprecedented damage. There nuclear weapons have been a cause of tenserelations between different countries.
