Obituary“For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live, therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.”

NISHA S. AVERY was born November 5, 1968, in Augusta, Georgia to the union of the late Joe N. Avery and Mrs. Clara Lewis Avery. One sister, Joyce Walton, preceded her in death.

At an early age, Nisha accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at Beulah Grove Baptist Church. She was a graduate of the T.W. Josey High School Class of 1986. She was employed by Sam’s Club for twenty-eight years until her health failed.

Nisha is survived by: two loving sons, Ricky Howard, Jr. of North Augusta, South Carolina and Jeremy Brandon Howard, Sr. of Augusta, Georgia; devoted and caring mother, Mrs. Clara Lewis Avery of Augusta, Georgia; three sisters, Kathleen (Richard) Murray, Sandra (Pervis) Bennett and Glenda Avery, all of Augusta, Georgia; two brothers, James (Margaret) Williams of Waynesboro, Georgia and Charles (Carolyn) Williams of Augusta, Georgia; loving and devoted grandson, Jeremy Brandon Howard, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia; devoted friend, Carolyn Simmons of Augusta, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
