• Follow your script/storyboard• Shoot coverage & extra b-roll

• For interviews– Use a relevant background– Make subject comfortable– Start with a wide or medium shot– mid-way through readjust camera to close up

PRODUCTION PROCESS• For scripted videos (how-to, instructional, etc)– Plan to shoot video 2.5 times– 1st run through all wide or medium shot– 2nd run through all close up–½ run through close up of actions taking place

having to move camera• Use pan and tilt sparingly, NO ZOOM• Variety—wide, medium, close for both
