All back office multi-currency operations are seamlessly integrated with Dynamics ERP multi-currency module. This slide deck does not cover details of how multi currency module of Dynamics ERP operate. Please refer to Dynamics ERP user manuals for the same. Multi currency feature gives you flexibility in letting your customers transact in a particular currency based on the eCommerce channel they are visiting. It also lets the shopper to transact in a single currency that they are configured in. This customer specific currency is made available across all stores as soon as the shopper logs in.

  • 3. Feature Overview 3 Ignify eCommerce It is possible to offer your international shoppers a self-service portal in a multi-currency, multi-geo market. Configure different channels in different geos with currency as per geo preferences. The merchant configures payment gateways per currency and accept payments in different currencies via different gateways while running a single web store. If you are running multiple web stores for each currency, then you can use web store specific gateway features. Capture multi-geographical market Accept payments in multiple currencies Auto import Microsoft Dynamics ERP Multi Currency Price Contracts can be imported automatically and offered to various shoppers in an eCommerce Store Front.
  • 4. Activate multiple currencies for your organization The Store Manager activates the currencies before using the Manager Panel. US Dollars (USD) is the default currency and can be changed as per your business requirements. The corresponding ERP and CRM currency Ids should also be activated if you are using backend ERP and CRM solutions. 4 Ignify eCommerce
  • 5. Configure currencies for web store and customer class 5 The Store Manager selects the default currency for guest customers on his web store while creating a web store channel. Only active currencies are displayed in the dropdown, and the CSR must ensure that his currencies are activated as explained in the previous slide. The currency set up for a customer class would be applicable for registered customers belonging to that customer class. Currency is configurable for individual customers as well. Ignify eCommerce

  • 7. Ignify eCommerce Accept payments in multiple currencies Merchants can configure payment accounts for every currency they operate in. This means that you can accept payments in different currencies via different payment providers while running a single sales channel. If the merchant has multiple channels for each currency, he can specify channel specific payment accounts. 7
  • 8. 8 Ignify eCommerce Same provider, multiple currencies If the payment provider supports multi-currency transactions, then you can use the same payment provider for the various currencies that your web store allows transactions in.   • 10. 10 Ignify eCommerce Set SKU prices in multiple currencies It is possible to create different list prices for a single SKU in multiple currencies. When the CSR creates a new list price, all active currencies are displayed in a pop-up and he can assign a price in any of those currencies.
  • 11. 11 Ignify eCommerce Place orders in multiple currencies To help the merchant service a larger geographical market, the Manager Panel allows him to decide the currency in which the order would be placed. When placing an order via the Manager Panel, the CSR chooses the order currency from the drop down. When Order Lines are added , the Manager Panel would calculate unit price based on the currency chosen at the header level. During order placement, Order Currency is defaulted from Customer Master. This currency can be modified by the Manager Panel User/CSR as required.

  • 13. Features not compatible with multi-currency 13 1. Shipping Quotations Only UPS and FedEx carriers are supported for multi-currency shipping quotations. These carriers determine the currency based on Ship To destination. Ship To country drop downs should be restricted to force currency specific, real-time shipping quotations. 2. Authorize.net CIM Service does not support non-USD currency. You can use it for US Ignify eCommerce eCommerce Web Stores but not international. 3. Avalara Tax Engine offers taxes only for US and Canada, and supports US and Canadian currencies only. 4. Few Payment Gateways support multi currencies while a majority are a single currency gateway. Kindly discuss with your payment gateway provider to get more details.
