Budget DjOdification for Senior Citizens -Request is for additionalTribal Contribution of $1,994. F & A recoom=nds approval of request fromGeneral Fund -Contingency. An additional tribal contribution m3.y beneeded in the last quarter of the year for food if the attendancecontinues to increase.

Budget }fodification for JCM -Due to federal cutbacks, d1e program isrequesting a tribal contribution of $26,794.99. F & A recOImEndsapproval of the request. The funds were budgeted for at $75,000. Thiswill still result in a tribal contribution savings of $48,205.

EquipnE-nt Purchase -Security previously requested approval to purchasecommunications equipment at a cost of $5,665.50. ~ error was made inc~ting the cost. The actual figure should have been $6,786.50. Thisis an additiona~ cost of $1,121. F & A rec~nds approval of thisrequest.

(9) Capital Improvements -The NOrbert Hill Center is requesting $1,227 torepair the sout? driveway at the center. F & A reccmnends approval.

There was discussion on qualification Ill, stating that you have to be anenrolled tribal m=mber and the sale of cigarettes in the gift shop. With thejob being posted at Grade 1, there may be a problem getting Tribal menDers toconsider the position.

Lois moved that the cigarettes not be sold in the gift shop and thatqualification III be changed to state Tribal members preferred. Kathyseconded.

After continued discussion, l.Dis withdrew her rrotion and Kathy agreed.

Uoyd mJVed to approve the job description with two changes: 1) Tribalmembers preferred and 2) a high scl-..ool diplormor GED preferred. IDisseconded. l-fotion carried.

mRKSHOP REQUEST

Tony requested approval for the Oneida Tribe to co-sponsor a workshop onCurriculum DeveloprIEnt by the f..rre.rican Indian Institute. 3 to 5 Tribalemployees will be able to attend the week long workshop free of charge inreturn for co-sponsoring the workshop. The dates are July 28 to August 1,1986.
