iLOOKUSA GOES A LITTLEBOHO-CHIC

This year iLOOKUSA vowed to break the redundancy of our regular photoshoots.

We asked our national photography affi liates to shoot our models in their own way, highlighting the products that are worn. We think they did a pretty good job.

Please enjoy our National iLOOKUSA Models wearing different textures, fabrics and colors. All of these images were taken at different places across the USA, and by different professional photographers. Please note the difference in backgrounds and climate.

We believe that the differences allowed the photographers and models to create individual pieces and distinct bodies of work. iLOOKUSA understands the delicate balance between a model and photographer. If done correctly the collaboration will produce something wonderful.

Please enjoy our models presentation of fall fabrics, textures, and colors.

Across the USA there are many differences, but there is one that that every state has in common that everyone can use every-one’s help and that is teenage homelessness.

According to According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, over 610,042 people experi-ence homelessness on any given day in the USA.

“i” ON A CAUSE

DROPPING A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE

Chronic homelessness is the term given to individuals that experience long-term or repeated times of homelessness. The chronic homeless are often the public face of the home-lessness issue, however they make up only 18% of the entire homeless population according to the National Alliance to End Homelessness. About 57,000 or 9% of all homeless persons are veterans A survey of 29 cities in the United States found the homeless population to increase by 6% from the previous year. The same report found that 26% of homeless adults suffered from some form of mental illness.

Data: National Alliance to End Homelessness

Photographer-Laura McDermott, St. Louis, Illinois

iLOOKUSA would like to end 2014 by helping those in our country that need it the most right now, and that is the homeless of any age. So, we are urging our followers to give, help, and educated. By giving your gently used cloth-ing or spare change Helping at your local shelters and donating to pantries. Educating others about the huge number of homeless right here in the USA.

The help you give today may change another person’s tomorrow.
