Initially used this design - though when I printed it the colours looked awful - they were really bright and garish. It looked quite good on the black and white copy though - the gradient in the background was much more apparent - tried to emphasise this more in the next developments.

Tried all sorts of textures - just to see whether they would give the numbers a more interesting visual quality. Didn’t really work as expected - didn’t work with the theme.
