The International Workshop on Image Electronics and Visual Com-puting 2014 (IEVC2014) will be held in Koh Samui, Thailand, on October 7-10, 2014 as the 4th international academic event of Image Electronics Engineers of Japan (IIEEJ) based on the great success of IEVC2007 held in Cairns, Aus-tralia, IEVC2010 held in Nice, France, and IEVC2012 held in Kuching, Malaysia. The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers, engineers, develop-ers, and students from various fields in both academia and industry for discuss-ing the latest researches, standards, developments, implementations and appli-cation systems in all areas of image electronics and visual computing.
Prospective authors are invited to submit a paper

Paper submission:
Purpose:
(2-4pages summary) including results, figures and references. The first page of the paper should include author name(s), affili-ation, and a short abstract. The official language is English and authors should submit their papers as PDF through the online submission system, which will be available around March, 2014 at http://www.kodama.com.hiroshima-u.ac.jp/iieej/IEVC2014/. The paper submission guide and MS Word format will be also provided at this site. The organizing committee particularly en-courages graduate students to present their works in the special sessions that are now planned by the committee of the work-shop.
