R & D projectsNov@log, is….

- 66 collaborative projects (research laboratories , enterprises, SMEs)

- A total investment of 72 million € (35% of which are financed)

- Projects in majority carried by SMEs (60%)

- Jobs dedicated to R & D in the field of logistics (about 200 since 2005)

- Creations of innovating enterprises(around twenty since 2005)

- Innovations, applied research, licences

R&D projects (examples)

Information system for the road transport tracking of secure goods.

The objective is to build a secure and shared electronic platform favouring combined rail/road transport from Le Havre to Novara in Italy.

The grouping of all those information will enable to improve security in transport and to be in line with actual and future regulatory confines

Partners: CRITT T&L, Soget, CTS, Novatrans, SNCF

SYSTTEMSValidation and technologic & organizational integration to optimize security and protection of harbour chain

The objective is to make compatible control performance (detection and identification) and harbour offloading(quality of service, profitability) With risk and threat analyse, processes and technologies the most adapted will be identified in terms of sensibility and “false alarms”

Partners: tl & associés, canberra, cea, cetmef, generale de manutention portuaire, grand port maritime du havre, groupe save, ices

VIPCALASInvestment: 4,5 million € (phase I)

Laser géo-localisation of a port terminal using laser technology

The market for solutions of management and optimisation of port container terminals is booming

The enterprises and PMEs, partners in the project have the objective of proposing a competitive offer on this market whilst benefiting from the most reliable as possible technology for their own installations in Normandy.

Partners: University of Le Havre (LITIS, LMAH), INSA of Rouen (Litis) Terminaux de Normandie, Dassault Systems, Foehne, LDTT, D&A.
