• Community-driven participatory design– Users as designers and decision-makers, when
developing services for them– Researchers facilitate the process & give resources– Core team:

– Some phases of the process are open for everyone– Ways of participation: meetings, online tools

• Solutions forum is a – positive meeting place – for both immigrants and natives – for knowledge sharing and problem solving– combining physical and online spaces
• Place for finding solutions both for ad hoc and long term issues– Networking people who share the same interest (e.g. in
integrating immigrants into society) and empower them to act on the issues they find important

Events calendar vision
• Digital event calendar:– supports interaction and dialogue between
natives and immigrants & NGOs and citizens – encourages and enables everyone to participate
in various events – enabling event experience to be continued and

• Workshops & Owela with other stakeholders• Participatory project budgeting for some
