Thank you so much for joining us at our 3rd Annual IMPACT Luncheon! We have an inspiring and empowering afternoon planned that we hope you will enjoy.

The two biggest risk factors are getting older and being a woman; although, men can be diagnosed with breast cancer too! Funds raised this afternoon and by Susan G. Making An IMPACT
Seth Cohen, M.D.
Seth Cohen, M.D., a board-cer-tified internal medicine physi-cian and medical oncologist, specializes in breast, colorectal and lung cancers; lymphomas; and genitourinary and gyneco-logical malignancies.
He serves as an attending physician at the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center at Monmouth Medical Center, where he is a principal
investigator for numerous clinical trials related to various tumor types.
Dr. Cohen is fellowship-trained in hematology and oncology with a subspecialty in pain and palliative care and has been practicing at Monmouth Hematology Oncology Associates since 2004.
Making An IMPACT
Christopher L. Ananian, M.D.
Christopher L. Ananian, M.D., received a B.A. in Biology and a B.S. in Exercise Science from The State University of Rutgers in 2000. He went on to obtain his M.D. from UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School in 2004. Dr. Ananian interned at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was a Diagnostic Imaging Resident at Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven,
Connecticut. He also completed a Fellowship in Breast/Body Imaging at Yale – New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Ananian has been a member of Princeton Radiology Associates and an attending physician at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center since July 2010.
He is a member of several medical societies and professional organizations including Radiology Society of North America, American College of Radiology and the American Medical Association. He also serves as co-chair on the executive committee for breast imaging for the Radiological Society of New Jersey.

More than 190 emerging scientists are supported through
Komen’s training and Career Catalyst grants, helping to train the next generation of breast cancer researchers.
More than 30,000 women are being recruited to more than 40 clinical trials that will test new approaches to prevent, screen,
diagnose and treat breast cancer.
More than 3.5 million women and men are surviving breast cancer – a living testament to the power of community and science to save lives.
88 new biomarkers are being discovered and tested to help diagnose
people and tailor treatment strategies to
each individual.
11 new strategies to prevent breast cancer are being developed
including new drugs, vaccines, diet and other risk reducing behaviors.
More than 150 new breast cancer treatments are being discovered and tested – 69 of these for
triple negative breast cancer, which needs better treatment options.
Over 200 Komen Advocates in Science work to ensure the patient perspective is included in
ongoing Komen-funded research and our Research Programs.
66 top-level scientists and advocates are helping guide and prioritize Komen’s global
research investment, which totals over $956M for more than 2,600 grants.
Susan G. Komen® is the largest breast cancer organization, funding more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
Since 1982, Komen has contributed to many of the advances made in the fight against breast cancer, transforming how the world treats and talks about this disease and helping many more people become breast cancer survivors.
