ADVANCED ORAL REHABILITATION

Founded in 1996, by Professor João Caramês, the Implantology Institute® is a multi-

disciplinary healthcare unit dedicated to Implantology, Oral and Aesthetic

Rehabilitation.

Our staff comprises over 25 dentists and stomatologists, who are specialize in the

different areas of Dentistry.

To ensure that our clinical team is constantly up to date with the latest developments

in this field, the Implantology Institute® has established a protocol agreement for

academic and scientific collaboration with the New York University College of

Dentistry for Continuing Education - USA.

The Implantology Institute® is located right in the center of Lisbon, near Praça de

Espanha. Our building is a state of the art facility with more than 100 professionals,

30 medical consulting rooms where over 150 patients are treated daily.

CARAMÊS ADVANCED EDUCATION CENTER®

Aware of the constant need for expertise, we developed the Caramês Advanced

Education Center, a training center that will seek to organize clinical courses,

conferences and clinical residencies. We also have available training events for other

oral health professionals, namely oral hygienists, dental technicians and dental

assistants.

We will have the precious international collaboration of recognized speakers who will

provide everyone an opportunity to scientific and professional enrichment. The

academic protocol established with New York University College of Dentistry, allows

us to provide advanced training programs of high quality!

LABIMPLANTE®

Our facilities also include a dental prosthesis laboratory (Labimplante®) that provides

permanent support for our clinical activities.

The Labimplante® works with clients not only in Portugal but also from other

countries and continents. Therefore we developed a functional structure that allows

us to respond to all requests.

Labimplante® staff includes more than 20 skilled dental technicians specialized in all

areas of dental work. All of them take part of a continuing education program in their

area of activity, to keep them updated on the constant evolution of Prosthodontics.

Labimplante® uses state-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology and techniques. We have

technological means that allow us to perform CAD / CAM works in many materials.

Featuring scanners and milling technology solutions that seek to obtain high

aesthetic and functional value.
