This course is designed to help experienced compensation and benefits professionals and HR leaders think more strategically about their total rewards (remuneration) programmes. Without a total rewards strategy, companies tend to benchmark their industries, react to cost pressures and "go with the flow". In this course, participants will learn the most common and effective approaches, methods and practices in the areas of base pay, allowances, annual merit, incentive pay, healthcare, retirement, paid time off and work/life benefits. On the second day, we turn to strategy, and teach participants how to evaluate their total rewards, and better align their total rewards "mix" to match their current and future workforce needs, and get the most value for their payroll and related expenditure.
