ReTransfer applications

Several main drivers to use ReTransfer technology

Non-PVC card material Dye sublimation on PVC cards only ReTransfer is suitable for ABS, Polycarbonate (PC) and most of the PET cards

Extended card lifespan Requires PC cards (7-10 years lifespan) Government ID’s and some Corporate ID’s

Non-Flat cards When chip cards are not flat No dye-sublimation possible in the chip area (blank zone) ReTransfer allows printing close to the chip

Real Edge-to-Edge printing Dye sublimation doesn't print at the edge of the card (due to cutting of PVC cards) ReTransfer covers the entire card surface:

• Ideal for dark card backgrounds• Not required when cards are pre-printed
