Army South BPA ID01180026, IDAWS BPA, was awarded as a multi-award IDIQ in June of 2018 for the acquisition of general purpose commercial information technology, equipment, software and ser-vices from Federal Supply Schedule 70. This BPA was established spe-cifically for purchases that improve dashboard analytics or provide workflow support within the Department of Defense. Army South created this BPA to help the government identify and acquire best value products and services with minimal effort. Efficiency The streamlined process reduces the sourcing and contracting time-line so the acquisition cycle is accomplished sooner—and you’ll see results faster, too. Low Risk/Qualified Vendors Vendors awarded BPA ID01180026, have demonstrated capability of delivering the in-scope products and services and are committed to honor pre-determined fixed prices. Pricing is published under IT Schedule 70 of the GSA. Competition This BPA is multi-award, so competition is still a factor with selec-tion of this contract. Federal acquisition rules specify preference to the use of multi-award BPAs over single-award BPAs. Scope Alignment Pre-drafted scope statements for this BPA reduce the risk of scope challenges due to a misalignment of your order specifications and the BPA’s intended purpose. Flexibility Individual orders under this BPA with a total value of less than $550,000 are excluded from the required use of Best Procurement Approach Determination.
